Doesn't appear to be very well received by customers. Rated only 4 stars, with 12% of the ratings at 1 star.

I'm leaning toward this 4.8 star-rated hub [amazon.com]. The only thing missing from my checklist is a PD pass-through port. I haven't made up my mind on how much I really need the PD feature, maybe I can live with a separate cord sticking out of my laptop.

having two HDMI ports on a hub seems rather expensive

any chance we might see a 2xHDMI hub for $10 - $12 price point?

What use case it might be? Curious minds want to know. Is it to drive two monitors from your phone (or other devices)?

Not this specific deal but just returned 2 cheap hdmi cables from Amazon. One had janky connection....I'd lose video every 5 mins or so. Returned and bought another brand ..these are all $15 chinese brands anyway.

2nd one had the pins not lined correctly. Ended up just driving to Bestbuy store and bought a Insignia branded hdmi for $20 and no issues.

Amazon is the King of Chinese sellers/products nowadays (hence the cheap price and lack of quality control). And do NOT buy clothes/shoes from Amazon..plethora of fakes. I've reported some to Amazon customer service and they frankly don't give 2 shytes.

yes two monitors from my laptop ... and use this hub as a "dock" ...so that with one action i can transfer the laptop from portable mode to my work-desk

i do this with my older Lenovo Thinkpad today with the old style bulky dock that has all monitors, wireless keyboard and mouse receiver, ethernet etc plugged in already

The newer laptops no longer have such docking ports on the underside -- but they have a USB C port that could be used to connect to a hub like this oneto achieve the same "dock" functionality

Be careful on what you buy for this.

Usb c hubs can do only 1 display or 2 mirrored display on macOS.

You might want thunderbolt hub (pricy), which can achieve true dock functionality.

They should mention this is a paid advertisements for a poorly reviewed product. What do the owners of SD think of us?
