This looks cool, but uses CR2477 coin batteries. I haven't had much luck with the cheapo coin batteries, and the real name-brand ones (as there's lots of fakes) aren't cheap.

Pretty happy with this, I've had for about 2 weeks now when I found it on an Amazon lightning deal. It's Bluetooth, although they do have a wifi version but you have to have the hub for that. I wanted the Bluetooth one because I had privacy concerns over govee's hub/ecosystem. They require your home wifi password and location. The app is nice with this because it has logging. It's also easy to change the battery whenever you need to. I popped it open when I got just to check.

Was it cheaper during the Amazon lightning deal? And was it a pain to change the battery?

The Amazon product page has more info on its capabilities than the owners manual itself. I like how it's able to store 20 days worth of onboard data.

It was an addition $2.70 off during the lightning deal. So you have the $2 like this has for 13.99 then another 2.70 for 11.29. Pretty sure that's what it ended up being. The battery was easy to change.

Even at its full price of 17.99 (or is 19.99?either way) I'd recommend it.

I admit, I wish it was bigger and just used AAAs instead. Just how small does it need to be?
