There some QC issue with this drive. Just do some heavy benchmarking when you get it to make sure you don't get a lemon. If it is, good luck with Newegg customer service. They probably try to charge you to return it.

Not that great of a deal. I'd go with Intel, or Sabrent. I have the 8200 pro and it works great. This isnt that drive.

The WD SN750 goes on sale several times a month. Much better than this drive. Also 8200 pro is a good drive.

I have 1tb version of this and it does get exceptionally hot. Consider adding a decent heat sink if temps are out of control. Something like this for a desktop https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KDDKDNN
