Is this the soft roller that people often recommend for hardwood floor?
All the v11 models apparently adjust power for the type of flooring you use it on. The soft dusting tool is just for getting dust off shelves, blinds etc

45 minute wait on hold, but no issue applying the coupon. They could see the one I had in my account.

Hopefully it's a SV15.

Correct. The v11 adjust automatically. Check out vacuum wars review and you can see how it changes the runtime when switching from hardwood to carpet. So no need to use a different roller for hardwood.

That's what I read too. But people got the soft roller head because it doesn't scratch the hardwood floor as much

Ordered the v7 for $180 a few days ago through the eBay deal but considering this one instead now, although it's over double the price. Is it really worth spending the extra?

What are the advantages of the SV15 new motor? Having trouble finding any literature on it.

If anyone opted to have it shipped instead of in store pick up please report back if the battery is "clip in" or screwed in.
Thanks

Used BBB Curbside pick up and I received the SV14 yesterday. It did say 'Latest Technology' on the box so maybe that's all they have in stock. Not going to stress about it till the return period is up and then check to see if they have the SV15 in stock after summer!

Can someone explain if I received the sv14 from BBB, how should the return/exchange work? Keep the original packaging and never use the vacuum and wait until they have sv15 in stock and just exchange it?

Watched lots of reviews and decided to bite the bullet on this one. Was about a $235 difference over the v7 with taxes and is the most money I've ever spent on a vacuum cleaner, but this seems to have rave reviews everywhere. Figured it can't hurt to give it a try and decide which one I want to keep.

The wait time to get through to someone took about 25 minutes the first time, and at first, they said the coupon could only be applied if it wasn't in the excluded items list, but after some very slight push back, she said she could do it but the order would have to be placed over the phone instead of online, which was fine.

Unfortunately, that call somehow got cut before the order could be finalized, so I had to call back again and wait for 45 mins. The next customer service agent had no issues and applied the coupon immediately.

Couldn't do store pickup as the nearest store had low inventory although it showed as being available for curbside pickup on the website, and the one that did have it available was a bit too far, so ended up just getting it shipped.

Please let us know which version you get (SV14 or SV15) when it arrives, thanks !

Scored one at $399.99 after calling customer service. The CSR person applied the 20% coupon when I gave her my email address. Thanks OP!

You can sign-up for emails at BBB site and create your account. And you only need to provide your email address to customer service.
