I missed out I guess. The one that was sold from Amazon has disappeared (I looked through the other sellers list) and third parties are selling for $130, smh.

When did you get your switch? Do you play avidly? My girlfriend barley plays and has it the worst
I got mine at launch. No issue with mine.

All my joycon pairs have drifted at some point, thank goodness for free repairs from Nintendo. In fact, my 1st pair from launch is at Nintendo fixing drift for the second time in its life. I won't every buy a pair of standalone joycons until they've fixed the drift issue.

How many is all? That's pretty unfortunate and sorry to hear that. Good to know that Nintendo is repairing drift issues, but for how long I wonder?

Drifter here. Had 2 full pairs bite the dust, got a free repair, and now have another pair ready to send back soon.

It's good to have at least one extra pair per Switch, imo
With that said, Nintendo should provide an extra pair to cover the warranty period Smilie

Yay, more drift for everyone.

Seriously, about 3/5 people I know have that issue. It's pretty bad.
If you're at all mechanically inclined you can buy just a single analog stick from amazon for under 10 bucks. I bought a 2 pack for 15. Then watch a tutorial on YouTube to replace the stick. it's not hard and there's no soldering required.

I have 3 switches so that makes 3 pairs. 1 is a launch system, the other are probably 1 and 2 years old respecively. I've sent in 5 individual joycons as of today (waiting on my 5th repair as it's currently being worked on by nintendo)

One could argue my kids are destroying the joycons, but I've only repaired 2 individual units (both left joycons) from their pairs. The other 3 failures are from my launch switch - as a father of 3 - I seem to never have time to play.

Electrical cleaner is $6 a can at Menards and is faster down the dust flap. BUT, still buy the replacement thumbsticks as they are the first thing to break when you have small children (or a loose grip).

Sent one in before for drift and received a refurb that had buttons failing intermittently. I did return swap as Nintendo gave me issues later (yeah, it's a dick move, but these joycons have really broken Nintendo's rock solid first party controller heritage).
