Make sure you change the sub to shipping otherwise it defaults to pickup! Also check the shipping address for it as it auto ships to your accounts default if you are shipping it elsewhere you will have to change it within a few min of your order being processed!

https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/14121296 I got this deal a little bit ago which is OOS now. I just wasn't sure if the JBL was more powerful or better sound quality or something since I run their studio monitors for my pc setup.
Oh wow that is a great deal for those who were able to pick that up. Like I said if you listen to any tv/movies at all this will be a downgrade.

I got this the last time. I have a dedicated theatre system upstairs, but this is really neat for our living room set up. The subwoofer reeeeeeallly makes a huge difference of course. I'm just saying if you want something much better than your tv speakers and don't want to break the bank, this is a great option.

This versus the Sonos Beam?
Much better, the Sonos Beam is terrible. Poor Wi-Fi radios constantly disconnecting, no 5.8 GHz (forces your system into 2.4 GHz), poor interoperability, no wall mount, overpriced, mediocre sound. Get JBL instead.

In for one, Thanks!

I got rid of my old Vizio 5.1 soundbar/ sub / satellites when moved to a new house and been suffering through built-in TV speakers for a few months now. This will definitely be an upgrade from the built-ins, so I'm not worried about the center channel when watching TV/Movies.

Check out the comparison review on Rtings. Does seem like Sonos Beam is slightly better.

Sonos speakers are so over priced, I feel like you're paying more for marketing than the actual technology in the product you're buying. Sort of like Apple products.

I just unpacked and set mine up!! Sounds great! Better than my same wattage HK sound bar from a few years back.

Thanks! In for one. Was trying to get the open box excellent. Added it to the cart but it said no longer available for shipping and not available to pickup with 250 miles. So had to with new. Still a great deal though.

Exactly. And just like the tax-sheltering multinational Apple Corporation, don't underestimate how they secretly pay off media outlets for hyping up products.

Depends on what you value; their claim of the Beam analyzing your room's sonic profile is totally made up, and the center channel functionality is not actually discrete. That's before the other numerous wireless flaws and weak sound quality of the Beam.

My last 2 JBL Bar's died under normal use within a few months each. JBL's customer service and technical departments are useless.
Had the same issue with not one but two (both gifts) wireless speakers. Their CS is one of the worst in the business.

I got mine on the last deal - I'm favorably impressed. Without the sub it's nothing special (I hate android controls too) but with the sub it sounds great! For an upstairs landing (about space for three people) it's perfect. I use it for movies and tv, not music. The android functionality is there but I'd never dream of using it since I have RokuTV. It handles Dolby digital and DTS, so won't process 7.1 or higher. For my Plex content that's perfect.

I have this and was on the fence because the reviews are terrible. Mostly complaints about the Android TV. I think it is very usable and likely it has been updated since it came out. I also have a top of the line Sony TV with android that had same complaints and It was pretty horrible at first, a firmware update certainly fixed it. I have this in my Chromecast speaker group and it works wonderfully.

The sound is very good. I have this mounted above my outside tv (under a porch in a tv box). I haven't hooked up the sub yet because I can't find a place I want to leave the sub in the elements. Bass is great on bar alone. Wish I coulda saved $50 or $100 as I would skip the sub since I'm happy with just the bar.
