Make sure you change the sub to shipping otherwise it defaults to pickup! Also check the shipping address for it as it auto ships to your accounts default if you are shipping it elsewhere you will have to change it within a few min of your order being processed!

I have this and was on the fence because the reviews are terrible. Mostly complaints about the Android TV. I think it is very usable and likely it has been updated since it came out. I also have a top of the line Sony TV with android that had same complaints and It was pretty horrible at first, a firmware update certainly fixed it. I have this in my Chromecast speaker group and it works wonderfully.

The sound is very good. I have this mounted above my outside TV (under a porch in a TV box). I haven't hooked up the sub yet because I can't find a place I want to leave the sub in the elements. Bass is great on bar alone. Wish I coulda saved $50 or $100 as I would skip the sub since I'm happy with just the bar.

This thing sounds great for the money, but the android TV features are awful. I would suggest turning of the mic (and I dont worry about the privacy concerns) just to avoid dealing with a head ache of feeding this thing commands. Also, I have multiple Chromecasts in different rooms I will cast to, but you suddenly have to change any if they have TV in the label, because for whatever reason this will intercept any commands that have TV in them even though the Device is default titled JBL Link Bar, which can be indescribably annoying, especially when pair with other voice recognition failures

With that said the sound quality of the stereo speakers is good, not let down by that

I recently picked up the Samsung Harman Kardon HW-Q6CR/ZA Series 5.1 Channel Acoustic Beam Soundbar with Sub.

How does this compare? I'd only be spending $50 more for the JBL.
Did you try out your Samsung HW-Q6CR? Because my budget Samsung HW-R60M sounds really good in my opinion and the Samsung HW-Q6CR sounds even better.

Looking for new soundbar. Any input on JBL vs this Visio from Costco for $149? THe slim sub at Costco looks interesting, but no specs on the out.

I was able to get it Open Box Satisfactory for $119.00 + tax, with Free 10" JBL Subwoofer. Not familiar with the JBL Bar but I believe the price is worth it for the JBL Subwoofer, and it's New.

From $700 down to $200? Has anyone here actually paid 700?

No HDMI inputs on the Visio would make me select the JBL over all.

My last 2 JBL Bar's died under normal use within a few months each. JBL's customer service and technical departments are useless.
Same experience with Polk for me. The only sound bars that I have had any luck with lasting more than a couple years is Samsung.
