I used to carry a regular Swiss Army knife, with these exact tools minus the saw, all the time and the tools were often useful. I would say it depends on the kind of person you are though. Are you the type to tighten a random loose doorknob or the screw in a outlet cover or open a bottled beer? Than yes, they are handy.
