Single hose. Pass for me. Thanks though!
Pretty soon people going to be complaining about not being three hoses.

How would this perform in a hot 2 car garage?
Probably not good enough, and I say that as someone who's looking to do the same.

I insulated my garage ceiling and door a couple of years ago and it helps keep heat outside. For a time, I had a window unit that I would set at the door opening, close the door down on it and use a 2x10 piece of foam to seal the 'gap'. It would dump a ton of water onto the driveway when it ran, so I would expect a unit like this with no place to rid itself of water to perform poorly.

Horrible. I bought this unit to cool a 10ft x 10ft room and it cant even do that right. If the temp goes above 90 this thing is rendered useless. I live in socal too where the weather isnt extreme

Good article on single and dual hose portable AC. Basically single hose AC can more more efficient on relatively cool days, but once temperatures reach the 90s dual hose outperform them dramatically.

Damn. Just bought this thing a week ago after we got a defective machine from costway. Paid $400 on amazon, hasn't come in the mail yet. After reading that article already considering returning it. If this machine isn't good for NH summers what climate are these good for?

The single hose is more efficient since it re-cools indoor air instead of bringing in and cooling the outside hot air. The dual hose units run more. I have both single and dual hose units

Why 2 house matters and the 1 hose is not very efficient.

You are so misinformed about how these work. Please educate yourself before misinforming others.
