$5 off the going $12 price, bringing it in line with no name versions. Mine arrived in less than 48 hours in full sealed retail packaging and works great with my note 10.

It's been this price since 2019. Floating between 6.19 to 6.*

If only the shitty USB-C port on my Pixel 3 didn't get loose after a year of use.

Went through 2 of these dongles which both eventually barely hold a connection.

The stock headphones and charging cable are now getting touchy as well.

Such garbage technology.

Have you tried cleaning the port? I was having the same issue with my pixel 2 and it was because lint was building up in it.

Yeah, I've cleaned it out regularly. Definitely a good tip as stuff does build up.

I don't know about the note 10 but it does not work with samsun s6 tablet. Buyer beware
I use this every night with my Tab S6 and it works fine

This has been their regular price for some time. I have bought a few since last year. Kids either loose them or they break. I use them as back ups because they always forget to charge their Bluetooth headphones 😡.

But now I think the new saying is, if it ain't broken.. Make it tiny lol
Lol. I have observed multi usb c cables get pin defect on the connector . Some cause no charging, some no transfer data. Some have multi pins been pushed all the way to the bottom of the connector. I am afraid one day such usb c cable can ruin the phone or the notebook.

To a passive or low volt connector, it may at most stop working, But for the usb c with PD, pin defect may cause severe damage. Putting 20v(3A or up to 5A) and data in the same tiny connector with tiny tiny pins is a pretty bad idea.

Whats the point of going to usb-c only when you have to buy all these damn converters because hardly anything is compatible?!? As the old saying goes, if it ain't broken than don't fix it!
+1 - I'm still so frustrated that these are a thing and the 3.5mm standard isn't staying. Truly an innovation that takes us backwards; thanks Apple. But hey, at least they'll sell some wireless headphones, right?

That's very strange. I doubt the Apple DAC is the problem. I have been using my dongle with my laptop, desktop, and phone without issue. However, Android only has Audio Device Class 1.0 and mishandled the majority of such dongles, so you'll get 2/3rds output volume. This is not an issue with the dongle, but with AOSP not being up-to-date when it comes to USB audio devices. To clarify, this issue only occurs when used with an Android device.

From an audiophile perspective, it's one of the best buys you can make. You won't find a better USB-C DAC/amp dongle under $50. The audio output is extremely clean and it should adequately power most consumer-grade gear.

The Pixel dongle, on the other hand, is not. If you have tried the Apple dongle and need higher volume, try the Pixel dongle. Google manually whitelisted it to output full gain rather than 2/3rds (happens to Apple, Samsungy, and many other dongles as well). The Pixel 3 dongle (which I believe this is) is inferior to the Pixel 2 dongle I'm distortion, dynamic range, and power. It might not be meaningful enough to matter at $5-$10, but if volume is adequate I would definitely recommend the Apple dongle. It outputs full gain on my laptop and desktop and has worked perfectly for me the past year.
This, we need more people like you mate.

I have to agree. This phone doesn't even work during the cold (snowboarding) and my music doesn't work. Incredibly annoying! I was planning on getting this to just try another dongle, but it probably won't work.

Target: Jerks

They are charging $2 'bag fee'. I wish all the money they charged for bag fee was transferred to my bank account. I'm a jerk too, and someone gets all that money.

I used to think headphone dongles were ridiculous until I had two built in headphone jacks go out
