Take the reviews with a grain of salt. Walmart and Wayfair are the same company and likely sells the same product in both websites.

Edit: I hadn't checked the actual product pages. But it looks like Walmart has Graco and Wayfair has Viv+Rae. I thought it was the same Graco product.
Wayfair and Walmart are not the same company.

Pediatrician said it's a bad habit you don't want to start on— rocking baby to sleep.
I'm not sure why they would say that, we rocked our #1 to sleep all the time, our rocker saved our life (and arms!!). The alternative is standing and holding the baby and rocking for hours at a time. Will be using our rocker for #2.

Babies need comfort and the feeling to be loved. If they don't get that feeling then they grow up and leave comments like yours on SD.

This chair sucks! Poorly built and flimsy. My 200 lb body cracked the frame while sitting in it.

We bought a cheap recliner from LaZBoy for $200 for my son's nursery. We've probably used it less than 10 times, he's now 3.

Some of the comments/questions here scare me. I won't call anyone out directly but as Chris Berman says "C'Mon man". It's a chair that glides to sooth the baby, and make feeding time easier. It's not rocket science. Google it!!!

We've had this for 4 years now (ours doesn't have that ramp on the foot rest, but besides that looks identical) - great glider. It's kind of awkward to move just because the seat and footrest both can glide, but it's held up well and is great for rocking babies...of note: as a father, I've fallen asleep in this thing from time to time as well

I got the previous version andd barely use it because they got feather poking u in the back so the crushions are unusable. I hope they update with this version. The resale value is none for these item. U better off chug it in the trash. And these think take up a lot of space and dangerous for toddlers

Correct. It's "Rocker Science" . All 6 of my kids liked to be rocked back to sleep. We had a chair similar to this one, that was an absolute life saver when my kids were babies . We paid around $300 for it and the ottoman 20yrs ago, and as far as I'm concerned it was worth every penny. For only $135, I highly recommend that any new parents seriously consider picking this up,

You may consider buying Snoo for the baby.
It's much better than a rocker.

What did the pediatrician warn against?
He said "Our pediatrician warned us about rocking our baby to sleep"

I used my wife's feeding glider as a computer chair. Pretty darn good use as you can put your legs up and lean back to listen to music when tired.
