I bought 8 enloops on eBay like 6 years ago. I mostly use them for my xbox controllers. They work as good as the day I bought them. And eBay sent me a, " these could be counterfeit" after I bought them. Amazing batteries. Highly recommend.

Amazon Basics have switched to Chinese manufacturer per recent reviews. Not saying which is inferior, just throwing information out there.

I saw that too. Purchased these, amazon basics are coming tomorrow so we'll see.

We'll let you know when it ships, so 2-6 months delivery time. Amazon needs to get investigated for this, they obviously don't have the item. Everything I order is like this with Amazon now, and I get all the other retailers in 2 days.

Can i use any charger for this or have to be eneloop charger?
You don't have to use an Eneloop branded charger. Just look for a charger that works with this type (Ni-MH) and size (AAA) of battery.

Thank you. Bought one set. Please suggest a good charger as well.
XTAR VC4 is what I use. You can get something different for just AA/AAA but I got this so I could have one charger to do everything including my CR123 and does both Li-Ion and NiMH with monitoring so you can see the actual capacity the batteries are charging too, and it charges in a way that is safe and not destructive to the life of the batteries.

These are 800 mAh AAA batteries. I got some 1100 mAh AAA batteries about four years ago and they're still going strong. I personally feel the extra power is handy but I haven't done any actual benchmarking. EBL on Amazon. They also make higher power AA. Went full in with multiple sizes and chargers and I've been happy with all.

Thought I'd mention it for the other parents out there. More power is less frequent battery changes.

I bought a pack of these Eneloops this morning for $13.75. While at lunch today i popped over to the IKEA a few blocks from my work and picked up a couple packs of the LADDA AA and AAA rechargeable.packs.They were $6.99 each pack of 4 and they are indeed made in Japan.

EDIT: My Eneloops were delivered and they are "Made in Japan"

Lots of good suggestions on this thread. I ordered xtar vc4 for its ability to revive 0v cells and USB input. I plan to recharge a few garden lights some of which are not charging anymore.
