I picked this one up for the same price a few months ago on a previously posted sdeal and am happy with it. It's a great value for $30. The light output is good. Works well and is versatile. Has different light warmth options and is dimmable. Can even leave out some of the rods to turn it into a desk / table lamp. I prefer the aesthetics of the round base on this one as opposed to the square base on some other similar lamps. I wish it worked with wall switches and smart plugs, but otherwise I really like it, especially for $30.
A smart plug cuts power to the lamp when the smart plug is switched off. This lamp will always be in the "off" state after it loses and regains power, so you will always have to hit the power button on the lamp to turn it back on. You would run into the same problem if you plugged it into an outlet connected to a light switch. So, while it will turn the lamp off fine, you would always have to hit the power button on the lamp after turning the smart plug (or light switch) on.

Only 12w, probably equivalent to a 75w bulb, but nice features.

Got excited when I saw Taotronics lamp deal alert.. but I think I'm gonna hold out for another lamp like the previous deal, where it's less focused and more general light for the room

I picked up the other taotronics lamp here in SD. Besides 1815 lumens vs 1800 lumens and the shape of the light itself (oval vs teardrop) are there other differences?

I like the light. I use it for lighting when I have to do webcam meetings while working from home (my home office not so conducive to thia stuff). Brightness is good, and the gooseneck helps me position the light.

Got one. I think it will serve well for the computer table as well as for the web meetings. Thanks OP

Remember this will most probably not work with smart switches. For those of you spoilt by alexa and Google assistant that may be an issue (it's for me Smilie

Bought it last month but returned. 12w is not enough to light up a room. Need at least 14w floor lamp.
