Depends on your needs. The Vizio makes a great 4K *theater display, it can get brighter and have better contrast due to having more dimming zones than the Sony BUT it has a very crappy OS, slow processor, and TV tuner. Content NOT 4K won't look that great as the TV shines with 4K content.

The Sony has a much better processor and the signal upgrade/processing is known as the best in the business. 480p/720p/1080 upscaling is much better on the Sony.
I bought this exact model (same size and all) back when it was new and it's been great. Not sure what more I could want from a TV. Great at games, movies, TV, you name it. As long as it doesn't break, I can see myself continuing to use it for a long time — my next upgrade probably won't be for another 5+ years, after microLED TVs have become the norm.

I don't use the smart component on my TVs though, because even the best built in "smarts" are on par with a 2013 smartphone if you're lucky. The relatively vanilla build of Android the 900F comes with is usable in a pinch, but it's kinda laggy and overall lackluster compared to the Apple TV 4K I have mine hooked up to.

Paid $929 65" shipped 5 months ago. It's not a bad TV comparing to c9. And I own both.

How'd you buy it? Open box? New?

Best Buy had some crazy open box deals if you were lucky enough to find them in your area

The 2020 models are better. What's a better value is a different question

This was a hundred dollars cheaper a month ago, not sure if this is the best price.

Seems like a deal. The new 900h seems to have some banding issues and lacks the great motion that this TV has. I was considering the 900H but I might give this a go instead.

Yeah, that's the deal I'd be interested in. 75" is a bit big for me.

The extra C-note was for disinfecting and the TV will now come with a large face mask across the screen.
