Not really a sale price, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up because these controllers, particularly the SNES controller, have been out of stock for ages. It seems Nintendo has started shipping hardware again, so these are back in stock for now! Was able to order an SNES controller.

Sure - it's a Bluetooth controller and you can use it elsewhere, but Nintendo's intent is for you to use this for the NES and SNES games that are accessible through Nintendo Switch Online. Therefore, you need to subscribe to play those games anyways - so offering this to only switch online members doesn't really bother me. Also NSO doesn't have much to offer other than the retro games unlike the other subscriptions that the other systems have, so exclusive access to something doesn't really bother me either.

Anyone able to order it today or yesterday? I have the paid Online sub and haven't ordered any before. I tried and keep getting an error message:

"There was an issue processing your transaction. Contact your card issuer or select a different payment option. For help, please visit support.nintendo.com/switch/creditcard"

Tried two CCs and Chrome then Firefox. Same issue.

Oof that problem.

I've had that problem, had to contact Nintendo and it took dang near two months before it got cleared out in the system. Had to do with my card not verifying and their systems put my account on hold for online orders even though my card could still process purchases through the store on the Switch, has something to do with the online store itself.

The short term work around is contacting them and ordering on the phone though sometimes that can be tough too and they may not be able to verify your online membership immediately and may need to take your info till a higher up can contact you back, but I can say they will call you back, just takes a while.

Sounds like the same problem. My CC works fine on Switch and 3DS eShop. I just had a phone call with support. They said no phone orders could be placed at the moment due to COVID - only the website store is open. Guess I'll call next week when the site surely still doesn't work and see if they will take an order on the phone.

Do you say Nintendo finally fixed your account so you can order via store.nintendo.com now? Was that a call or you just stumbled upon the site working for you?

Yes, it took about 2 months for the systems to complete whatever security process it needed to and now I can order on the website and the Switch store with no problem, anything prior to it clearing I would just call and order like you are doing and just made sure to let them know of the problem every time till it finally cleared up like 2 months later.
