A 2 pack is usually cheaper per camera but good deal compared to single camera which goes on sale for $150. Repped

Seems I can't read or think this morning. The two pack is the smart wifi plugs. Duh. Going back to bed. Hopefully I can cancel before it ships.

Still a decent deal though, especially if you need two smart wifi plugs.

It's one camera only with 2 plugs

I know. A single camera usually goes on sale for $150 while a 2 pack goes on sale for $238 making each one $119. So if you need 2 cameras, the 2 pack is better but for a single camera, this is cheaper and also comes with 2 smart plugs.

Because that's not their market.

Sorry, is my math wrong? It's $199 with 20% off (PLUS20 code). Brings it down to $160. Even with 5% from duscover, that's another $8 off bringing it down to $152. How are you getting $135-ish?

Edit: it's a 2pk wifi plug, not 2 pk camera. need more coffee.

Does anyone own this? Is this a wifi camera ? Does it require a hub? I currently have arlo and ring cameras and could use something for outside.

Nest, in my opinion, are one of the best Wi-Fi cameras on the market. I've had them since 2012 when they were Dropcam and they're still going strong.

They do not require a hub and they just significantly lowered their pricing for 10 days of 24 hour recording. My parents have a Ring doorbell and I hate everything about it including the time it takes to actually start recording, it misses everything.

I think it's worth a try but I think you will not be disappointed, compared to Ring.

I bought this to make it PoE and it worked well: Coolgear Nest Cam USB C Power Pod Extender Kit - Extends up to 100M https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07G4CQDPY/

If you don't have the IQ model buy a USB C to 3.1 adapter too. I've had zero issues with that combo.

Nest cameras are definitely the best wifi cams IF your internet has unlimited data. I had to add unlimited data to my xfinity plan because of their stupid 1tb data cap which can be easily hit if you have more than a couple Nest cams. Now that their subscriptions include ALL cameras that you own, its definitely more bearable

Used to have a ring doorbell and its terrible compared to the nest doorbell. Quick live view, 24/7 recording, its great
