If the whole point of eco-drive is to charge up the battery, does that mean eco-drive's never have to be serviced?

Looks pretty sharp but no radio controlled and no sapphire crystal. I'll stick with my E650 & PCAT.

Nope. I had the old Citizen Skyhawk and battery died after 7 years. Sent it to Citizen repair (its in L.A) and they replaced the movement/battery for $60 (if I recall).

These are quartz and movement is not serviceable. They seem to be reliable for the most part but if any issues, the whole movement is swapped out. One of my peeves with quartz/digital watches. Automatics are easily repairable (even by local watch makers).

Not sure of the MSRP on this watch. I am trying to fogure out why it is so high as its missing most of the features of the higher end Citizen watches.

I've had my eco drive (citizen at4004) since 2012 and not had any issues, still going strong. That being said, this "deal" reeks of shilly sponsored staff post. This isn't a deal at all, price shop around a bit you can often find citizens on sale for a pretty decent discount, even at places like Macy's.

Any suggestions on where to search, I'm not very savvy when to it comes researching prices, that's why I'm on slickdeals!

I had this watch for about 15 years. Its all beat up and working like a charm. Wish Citizen had a reasonable repair for their cases, bands and glass. Last time I called it was a pretty penny to just replace those parts. almost what it costs new.

They tend to fluctuate pretty heavily but a lot of times you can find these from major retailers (authorized resellers) for $100-$200 under MSRP. It pays to just be persistent and checking places like google shopping to see a large results of prices from different websites.

What really bothers me about this watch, is the model they have listed JW0071-58E is not even listed on Citizen's website. I understand it could be discontinued, but typically they still leave a page up so you can access relevant support material such as the manual. There is also not many results beyond a few less than reputable websites. This appears to be a variation of the "PROMASTER SST" but with titanium listed instead of stainless. The closest thing citizen has listed is model JW0111-55E (which is a stainless version of this watch).

This is a cool Watch but I don't think it's worth 350.. I bought one with these functions several years ago at tj maxx for maybe 180... I just recently sold it on eBay for 100 bucks
