Cheapest I've seen this frame in a while. Usually hovers around 250-280 USD.

To anyone purchasing, my advice is to put a reinforcement made of solid wood in the middle. It's the only part of the frame that is made of metal, and most negative reviews on the frame(there aren't too many) are based around the middle support legs bending over time.

Overall, however, I've previously owned this frame and it suited me well for years without an issue. I jumped on this deal once I saw the price reduction since I needed a second frame for the house. Obviously there are better quality ones out there, but for the price its a darn steal!

Had a different version of Zinus bed frame I bought in October and I returned it broken in November. It was made of crap and was basically broken upon assembly.

I would at least keep the original box so you can send it back.

It would require you to be a bit of a craftsman.

Get a 2x4 or 2x6 cut to about the length of the bed frame(80" for a queen), and use that to replace the metal support beam that comes with the frame. Build the legs out of wood too.

Most issues with these cheaper solid wood platform beds result from the middle support breaking.

I love the frame for what it is! But I believe I'm having that issue lol say that again? Cut a piece of wood to stabilize the center pc.? If I remember correctly their is 1-2 metal legs? It's also squeaking just from "regular" usage 😆

Have had the king size version for 1 1/2 years. Haven't had any issues. No sagging or extra support needed. No squeaking. Nice, solid bed when put together.

Literally if you're having the issue just get a good sturdy cut of wood like maple and replace the metal piece and legs with that. Yea, it requires you to be handy, but a few bucks at home depot is better than taking the risk of your matress sagging or your back hurting like hell.

Also, a lil wd40 on the screws should fix the squeaking. I learned that when I was sixteen trying to hide my actions from the parents. Smilie
