Yeah usually it indicates that it is for a full frame e-mount.

I think the Samyang is better for the same price. It's quieter, just as sharp and has better contrast.

What about AF? I have the Samyang 35mm and 50mm and the AF is slow and clicks loudly. Neither is usable for video.

Anyone have experience with this and the Samyang/Rokinon? Thoughts?

Many people don't use AF for video.

As a prior owner of the 24mm version here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
lightwieght and travel friendly
sharp optics and great macro performance
67mm (matches my other lens and an economic filter size I'm general)
weather sealed gasket at the mount
Cons:
focus ring is very crude and manual focus for macro is cumbersome
Af motor a little noisy and nowhere as fast or precise as the RXD lenses like the 28-75mm from tramron
Not as well built as Sony or Zeiss primes but cheaper of course

I recently sold this as I'm going to cough up the money for a Sony 20mm 1.8 (Not an apples to apples comparison but, better all round performance and good long term investment in my opinion)
but at this price it's definite worth a shot

I have a Sony 6300 (not full frame) and looking for some zoom lenses. Figured this post may have some photographers with insight. Any recommendations that won't break bank? Something in the 20-70mm range.

OP, find some Nikon mount deals. Just got a D810.
F mount lenses used are pretty inexpensive, i suggest look into f/1.8 gold ring prime lenses, those have the best image sharpness and contrast in thr entire lineup.
