I recently bought a Bosch 800 series for $1100 so this is a great deal. However, a stainless steel front finish vs black plastic - which may be a deal breaker for most. Overall I'd say I'm very satisfied (coming from a high end Miele that lasted 20 years).

Pros:
-Very quiet
-Cleans excellent
3rd rack is biggest in industry (takes small bowls and big cooking utensils. Gets used everyday. Thought I'd simply take it out but prob best feature.
-Red dot that signifies cycle great, I thought it was going to be just a gimmick but it's useful.

Cons:
- "touch" buttons are annoyingly unpredictable. They work but took some getting used to. Too soft doesn't register. Too hard or quick, doesn't register. It's like the Goldilocks of buttons.
- every time you open the door it stops the cycle plan. Gotta press start again each time-even before cycle starts like on delay. Annoying coming from a Miele that didn't.

Neutral:
-Also another difference is mine has Crystal Dry, this has Extra Dry. Don't know the diff. I'd say mine dries to expectation. All non plastic bone dry with and without rinse aid. Plastic Tupperware slightly wet but to me that's expected, with all makes and models.

If you have a black plastic facade kitchen already. This is a steal. Also since most of you like me are cheap AF, it's an easy install for DIY. Just make sure if you don't have a hole cutter to get one as the waste hose needs to go up like ~40" in the cabinet per instructions to avoid back suction. Had to cut a new hole.
That's very interesting. We have the 800 and we never have to press start if we open it again in mid cycle. It will resume automatically. If you try to close the dishwasher while you have the control panel on and didn't press start before closing the door, it will beep at you to indicate that it won't start. Again this is only when you haven't started a cycle yet but mid cycle we don't have to mess with it at all. Just open and close. We had a Miele too and the biggest difference I saw was that the Miele's drying is amazing and it automatically opened after the cycle was done. However, the Miele just had problem after problem. I've heard some of their new models are great but they are pricey machines.

As for drying my 800 has no extra dry option. There is a hidden service menu where you can enable enhanced drying and it increases each cycle's time by 20 minutes. Since we don't use a lot of plastic utensils nor do we ever put them in the dishwasher, the need for rinse aid is quite minimal and not very necessary. The Bosch defects low rinse aid and extends the cycle time by another 16 minutes

I ordered two AC's from Appliance Connection a month ago. The delivery guy was really late and one AC arrived broken. It took them a week to replace it, and again the delivery guy was very late.

Otherwise the service was satisfactory!

Highly recommend you get the installation kit, German washers have different hoses so if you are replacing an American standard dishwasher you will not get far with the install without it.

So far absolutely loving my Bosch 800, dishes come out sparkling, dry, and clean every single time. 3rd utensil rack is stupid useful, the 800 does indeed get plastic dry. So far it's well worth the premium, especially considering how much cooking at home is in our future.

I purchased one of the 800's with the touch buttons on the front on May 29th for the Appliance Connection memorial day sale. It was scheduled to deliver June 18th or so.
Turns out that was just when it would leave Appliance Connection and was scheduled to arrive July 1st.
July 1st rolls around and they say it's scheduled to arrive July 3rd.
Receive it July 3rd, and did not do a full inspection to my demise. All packaging was intact, and it was fully functional. Upon install night of the 3rd, I noticed there was a broken part. Bosch is sending a replacement, so no problem there. However, I did find a unreasonable amount of black/brown mold all over the racks and some on the door.

Called Bosch today, July 4th, they told me to clean it with dishwasher cleaner and call back if no change. No change this morning and called back, they recommended to use 409. Not looking forward to cleaning a brand new dishwasher because it is moldy.

TL;DR: don't be surprised if it takes over a month to receive. On receipt, check for mold while the delivery guy is there.

I have no doubt that the Bosch 800 dishwasher is an excellent appliance. However, my concern is regarding delivery times and customer service for Appliances Connection. I don't want to get a great deal through the buying process, but then have a horrible experience with delivery, installation, and customer service.

There is a current alert through the BBB:
https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/brookly...121-113329

The link that Appliance Connection supplies from their website checks only "Excellent" reviews on TrustPilot, and unchecking the box tells a different story when it comes to recent reviews.
https://www.trustpilot.com/review...ll&stars=5
https://www.trustpilot.com/review...guages=all

The other review websites seem to be more favorable. I'd like to buy a dishwasher and have it arrive in good condition in a timely manner. If nothing else, I'm getting sick of hand washing dishes! However, I just want to make sure all is well before throwing down nearly nine hundred bucks.

Can anyone speak to this company's customer service outside the state of NY? Thanks.

I had issues with payment, so their billing department was spot on and took care of everything. Can't speak on behalf of anything else. (I am in Indiana)

I received mine 3 weeks after ordering. I am in California. It arrived per their tracking schedule.

Is it expected that the inside of the dishwasher remain wet? Like on the siding and top, bottom. Is this with all dishwasher brands? My dishes are dry though.

I am worried about mold since I don't use mine daily.

Thanks for the info.

You're right about the color - it is a deal breaker for my wife.

I think this is the stainless steel version of the model

https://www.appliancesconnection....8zd5n.html

And it costs quite a bit more
Yes, that's the stainless pull indicated as a P in the model number. The handle is an X in the model number. Note, this model appears to be the older 800 series with auto dry versus the newer I got with crystal dry. Don't know the difference of tech but the crystal dry works well for me. Good luck.

Not at all. I have this and don't have this problem like someone else mentioned. Maybe they have a defective unit.

While I get the watch out, not necessary in this case. I bought Bosch 800 dishwasher and it uses all standard water hoses/connections and comes with the plug for regular 110v. You can get any standard "dishwasher install kit" from HD, Amazon, or Lowe's. The only caveat is if you're connecting as direct power (bypassing the 3 prong plug) then you have to use a Bosch power adapter but that also came with my unit that I bought for Best Buy. (I didn't buy from AC). I actually have the adapter if anyone needs it.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to look at the instruction manual to see if there is a setting. Mine beeps at me anytime I open it, it's powered on, and don't reset the start - regardless of what it's doing. But will double check different scenarios and manual. App it.
