Wow, smoking deal. Would've gotten this but we ordered like two months ago and just got it in the mail a couple days ago. :'(

We just got a Bosch 800 for ~$930 out the door from Goedeker's. (DO NOT RECOMMEND - DO NOT USE THEM) Lowest comparable price was like $1050 + tax from Lowe's or Home Depot. I wonder how this compares to the one we got besides the different exterior. We got this one: https://www.bosch-home.com/us/pro...SHPM78Z55N
Your model has Crystal Dry which is the only way I would get one.

I recently bought a Bosch 800 series for $1100 so this is a great deal. However, a stainless steel front finish vs black plastic - which may be a deal breaker for most. Overall I'd say I'm very satisfied (coming from a high end Miele that lasted 20 years).

Pros:
-Very quiet
-Cleans excellent
3rd rack is biggest in industry (takes small bowls and big cooking utensils. Gets used everyday. Thought I'd simply take it out but prob best feature.
-Red dot that signifies cycle great, I thought it was going to be just a gimmick but it's useful.

Cons:
- "touch" buttons are annoyingly unpredictable. They work but took some getting used to. Too soft doesn't register. Too hard or quick, doesn't register. It's like the Goldilocks of buttons.
- every time you open the door it stops the cycle plan. Gotta press start again each time-even before cycle starts like on delay. Annoying coming from a Miele that didn't.

Neutral:
-Also another difference is mine has Crystal Dry, this has Extra Dry. Don't know the diff. I'd say mine dries to expectation. All non plastic bone dry with and without rinse aid. Plastic Tupperware slightly wet but to me that's expected, with all makes and models.

If you have a black plastic facade kitchen already. This is a steal. Also since most of you like me are cheap AF, it's an easy install for DIY. Just make sure if you don't have a hole cutter to get one as the waste hose needs to go up like ~40" in the cabinet per instructions to avoid back suction. Had to cut a new hole.
Bosch has a fair number of models in 800 series, I believe the rack you described is only available in the high end ones (>1k).

I have an older stainless steel Bosch dishwasher and it's great. Cleans and dries everything spotlessly. It's very quite. Only thing the cycle takes a while and it can defiantly take a beating. Mine also has the third rack and fits tons of stuff. I don't like the buttons as they are very finicky.

Ive had a Bosch for over 10 years now and its a beast. Cleans literally anything you put in it while being super super quiet.

I got one, ty OP. Was going to buy a $300 scratch & dent fridgidaire from sears outlet (AF), but for only $300 more delivered to my door, instead of having to go get it - yeah, I'll do it.

hope installation isn't too challenging. i've ordered an installation kit from HD.

This one is $25 cheaper, deluxe and has 6 options vs 5.

Why it's better and cheaper?

This dishwasher was a pain in the rear to install in a remodel home built in 2001.

Planning on doing my kitchen appliances and sink all copper colored.
Do copper colored appliances ever go on sale?

Use spray paint. That way it's consistent

The old 800 series doesn't have crystal dry.

Got mine back in Apr for $1049. You can't tell if it's running or not. I think this is the most quiet dishwasher on the market.
