Please watch out. If you have copper water inlet of your old dish washer, you'd better DIY installation since their so-called "professional installation" only includes basic connections for an outrages price tag of $149.99. I had to refuse delivery since the installer was unable to install it and cost me big money since they charge for return.

I ordered from ApplianceConnection a month ago when there was a Slickdeal posting. The item was delivered as promise and it was well packaged and in excellent condition. The delivery company contacted me a day before scheduled delivery date to let me know when they were dropping it off. I decided to hook it up myself since I already had everything ready. Bosch is easy to hook up and everything is working smoothly.

Only thing I don't like about my new Bosch 800 is the dishwasher stays wet when the cycle is done. The dishes are dry but the dishwasher remains wet on the sides and bottom. And yes, I use Finish pods and Finish liquid in it. I guess this is typical of the older Bosch 800 series. That's the one part I don't like about my Bosch.

Also AC had a rebate on my unit and filling out the rebate form was a breeze. I am waiting for my rebate check.

Good find! I've been hunting for a Bosch dishwasher and it seems Lowes and HD are on about a 1-2 month backorder right now. Any word on how the vendor reputation is? Also, why not the other 800 series that is on closeout, its a few bucks cheaper and seems to also have a 50$ rebate. I cant seem to tell much difference between them. Would love to know how to decipher which one is newer in terms of "model year"

https://www.appliancesconnection....8wd6n.html

Edit: after reviewing the Bosch appliance website, looks like the OP model may be the newer version. In the product photos, the silverware basket on the bottom rack is identical to the current models. In the model I have linked in this post, the basket looks different. Also, the model I posted has 1 extra feature, which is a boosted pressure and temperature cycle option (extra button on the panel). In spite of this and the lower cost, I am going with the OP model, because I suspect with that it may be newer and therefore could incorporate newer design updates.

Amazing machine. I've had it for close to 3 years now and it runs 1-2 cycles everyday. The thing is super durable and we bought it at bestbuy. Replaced a Miele which had major issues but was great In terms of performance. There was a minor issue with the panel shutting off occasionally when we first got it in the middle of a wash but bestbuy geeksquad came and replaced the panel. Since then no issues at all. The dishwasher gets pretty decent at drying everything and we don't use plastic a lot and never place it in the dishwasher. Porcelain plates and glasses with a few metal items are mostly what's run through. Everything gets bone dry except for the top of mugs occasionally. The cavity is never wet even in the 50 min express setting. I forget to refill rinse aid at times and run with whatever pod is on sale, Members Mark, Cascade, Kirkland Signature, Style Selections, Finish, etc. The dishwasher has a hidden panel setting for extra drying and I select sanitize which both together greatly increase the drying performance. I live in an area with hard water as well. I've had good experiences with both bestbuy and Bosch. I remember when we bought ours we showed them the price of a local retailer and they beat it by $120 too and included free delivery and recycling. Bought most of my appliances from there and will recommend it to anyone as they are the best to deal with personally.

I ordered this the last time posted about a month ago, just got it in a few days ago and found that I need to do a bit more work to reconfigure the install, but it got here fine, delivery was great, and it was in great condition and is nice. I can't say how well it works... but given it is a Bosch 800 series it got here perfectly so I am assuming it will be fine.

I really miss my old Bosch Dishwasher. Our 17yr old Bosch was still working great when we moved. It wasn't a completely trouble free experience, but I'd say a control panel, a power button, a water inlet valve, a broken detergent door and a couple bad rollers on the pull out racks is pretty good for A 17yr. Old dishwasher used almost twice a day.

I wanted to buy another one, but my wife wanted to try something with a heating element, because she didn't like how wet the Tupperware used to come out of the Bosch. We bought a Stainless Whirlpool instead, and less than 2yrs later I already regret it. The racks pull out like there are no rollers, the Bosch felt almost like ball bearing rollers (even though it was just nylon on nylon). I've also already had to fix the detergent door twice on our Year and a half old whirlpool. And the damn heating element that my wife wanted so bad, has claimed the life of countless poorly loaded plastic items, I.E. ( sippy cup tops, Tupperware lids, plastic spatulas, etc.). The damn thing always smells like burning plastic. I can't wait for it to die, so we can buy another Bosch.

Wow, smoking deal. Would've gotten this but we ordered like two months ago and just got it in the mail a couple days ago. :'(

We just got a Bosch 800 for ~$930 out the door from Goedeker's. (DO NOT RECOMMEND - DO NOT USE THEM) Lowest comparable price was like $1050 + tax from Lowe's or Home Depot. I wonder how this compares to the one we got besides the different exterior. We got this one: https://www.bosch-home.com/us/pro...SHPM78Z55N

Any info about durability of plastic front? My kids destroyed a black plastic front on our Whirlpool. Scratches are visible and the buttons also failed.

Nice but Brush Nickel and we may have had a deal here. My 10yr Kenmore elite started acting up a week ago with not draining. change the pump still problem then disconnect drain hose and found plastic barcode label in hose. While doing that I found out how really easy it is to hookup a dishwasher. I even disconnected the hard wired and made it into an outlet and attached a power cord to the dishwasher. Eventually when it finally goes out a deal like this will be around but different color because all my other appliances are a different color.

Is there a stainless steel version of this? I can't put in a plastic dishwasher in my kitchen, this isn't the 70s.
