I would point out for people, that "angle" won't be more than 45 degrees, if I remember correctly it was more like 30-35 degrees max.

I would point out also that on their website their description of these speakers states they are "Contractor series", "This speaker is recommended for larger rooms or those with high ceilings" and "is the ideal choice where ever background music is desired"

Give you an idea what they are designed for.
Is that good for Atmos then? I'm guessing the ceiling sounds are more background noises, right?

So you can technically use them as object based (Atmos) speakers, now whether they are "good" for it will vary for everyone.

Keep in mind Contractor series speakers are usually on the entry level side.

Since these are entry level speakers, in my experience you will get what you pay for.

I have 12 of these installed and been using for a few months. Definitely good enough for the money. I am looking for a way to insulate the top of the ones downstairs (rockwool maybe) because they have no back and the sound goes right thru the floor. Other than that they are definitely worth the money when compared to the more expensive ones ($100s each)
