I can't believe people actually believe this article is legitimate. There's no way Disney is doing that lol.
It's Disney were talking about. They bought Star Wars to milk it for all it's worth and are remaking every single animated film they've ever made. The know fans aren't happy with how the sequels turned out and killing off all the characters fans loved doesn't help continue the story either

Luke did not leave the map. It was a map to the first Jedi temple, where people thought he went.

What was there for the Knights of Ren to do?

Finn went from wanting to run away with Rey to willing to sacrifice himself for the cause.

There was zero shade thrown to Lucas, it was very close to what he intended for Episode 7.
Just recently Johnson backhanded complimented the prequel trillogy. He implied his movie was better than them.

Bold words for a guy who invents lasers arcing in space and ships falling out of the sky when they run out of fuel. Because they cant run on sustainsble power like our modern day ships can. Dont get me started on the bombers. Ever heard of a y wing, or a b wing? Evidently learning basic physics, millitary strategy, or starwars history is too much for modern day writers.

There was no backhanded compliment.

Y-Wings are over 60 years old at this point. If he reused Y-Wings you'd be complaining about that he didn't make a new ship.

They had fuel in A New Hope and Empire, and lots of times in Clone Wars and Rebels.

Fans love the sequels fine. Nitpickers have issues with it.

Rumor is that Han Solo didn't die when Kylo Ren stabbed him with a lightsaber and threw him over the side...

...apparently the Ewoks caught him in a net, and have been nursing him back to health.

Expect to see Han make a huge entrance and single-handedly save the Jedi Order in a sequel in theaters near you very soon!

Oh, and on topic, these disfigured big-eyed mini statue dust collectors are priced below their normal ridiculously high pricing, so if this is your thing, now is the time to acquire it.
