Do yourselves a favor and stop buying Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, etc etc etc and buy Ridgid. Half the cost and the exact same or better performance.
Maybe for 18v, but not for 12v. There are also a lot more tradesmen specific tools for 18v Milwaukee. I have a brushless 18v Ridgid set that I like. I also have a few 12v Milwaukee tools that I also like.

VCG construction channel on YouTube thinks otherwise, and they do lots of testing. I had credit to burn at HD and watched a ton of their videos and several other channels, and settled on a Milwaukee set. Got a better deal than Rigid had at the time, and I was considering Rigid heavily because of the LSA. Ended up with the Milwaukee 12v Fuel Hammer Drill / driver - Impact combo, and pretty happy with it so far. I didn't personally own any cordless, always used ones at work, so I looked pretty carefully before commuting to an Ecosystem. Honestly - Ryobi is really the best value for most DIY.

Looks like that was a better deal, the XR line is pretty good if not edging out the M18 fuel in a lot of testing. Value aside, I think it depends on which ecosystem you care to be in, but that Amazon deal beats this at almost $100 less for sure.

True. Nobody beats the M12 system for compact, powerful tools. And M18 tradesman tools are expensive but legit. I have a random assortment of 18V tool brands, but all Milwaukee in 12V
