It's just glass cleaner, none of the stuff that makes water bead. Curious why this went front page when glass cleaner is as cheap as ammonia
Good price, but I've had better results with 'invisible glass' cleaner.

I bought one last time because of the bottle. Cheaper than buying an empty spray bottle.

60 minutes was sued because they ran a negative review about rainX. I don't remember how the case was resolved.

I prefer the original Rain-X, their other products which dilute the product to "also can do this" doesn't produce great results.
Glass cleaner usually tries to lifts dirt, oil, contaminants, mixing in a weak wax to "fill in" the small crevices in the surface of your windshield at the same time it is "cleaning" is a compromise. You don't get a great cleaner and you don't get less of a film to bead the rain so you will likely apply more often

Sent it to my brother and he said the exact same thing. I didn't even think twice about it when I read "Rain-X". Thanks for clarifying. Hopefully others read your comment too

Upon further research the ammonia free doesn't remove the rain x coating. But I don't really find myself cleaning my windshield very often on the outside. I use the rain x windshield washer fluid so I guess it reapplies every time I use it.
