Isn't there sometimes a deal for like $600 range? Think it doesn't come with sub. I just don't know how that bundle compares to this. Just upgraded my receiver and did my outside speakers. Nexy upgrade is inside speakers. Advice? Thanks.

I found the deal for $650 on slickdeals in the past. how does this compare?

Klipsch: R-610F Floors (Pair) + R-41M Book (Pair) + R-52C Center + R-100SW Sub
Last thought on recommendations. Take into consideration what your main listening is. Home theater 5.1 or 2ch music?
If it 2ch, id spend most of my budget on the towers. Klipsch runs deals a few times a year on towers not bundled.
If 5.1 I would start with just putting my money toward buying 620 or 820 towers for the front L/R and a r-34c Center channel. Don't skimp on the center, it's the majority of your movie/tv shows. Surround channels are mostly sound effects, so you can get by with your old speakers as surrounds for now.

The 610's only have one forward facing 6" bass driver and no top firing atmos.

I've got the 620's and think the second 6" driver really helps the mids. They already don't have a lot of low end, so dropping the extra driver makes the 610s a no go for me. If I were buying these towers again, I'd save up and go for the r-820f(please don't crucify need for recommending a more expensive speaker) or step up to the reference premiere line. You should really try to listen to them before you buy. Other commenters are right about them having a bright sound that isn't for everyone, but I like it.

Personally I think the atmos on top of floor-standings is sub par, and doesn't work at all in some situations(I've got vaulted ceilings)
Thanks for the help and advice. I don't listen in 2 channel. I have a 7.2 receiver and 2 channels are outdoor speakers on zone 2. 5.1 currently in living room. I don't have an atmos receiver. The movies I watch are either 5.1 or 7.1 surround. I was just planning out my upgrades and budget.

I have this package, just a different sub, and have been very happy with it for home theater. I don't generally like 'bright' speakers but I find them to be fairly neutral with a nice clear sound.

Hello,

I'm about to trigger the purchase for my small 17X10 room! is that a good deal? for the reference, I'm not planning on using the Atmos module at all as I'm getting in-ceiling speakers for that.
Any other cheaper alternatives to the 625FA if I'm not interested in the Atmos part?

More than price and brand you have to like sound first.they are so different b/w model and brands.i suggest listen to some if possible before you buy.
