Lol. Again...recommending someone spend 4x the money on a USED item (they'd even be lucky to find today) in a thread about a $250 NEW item that's available now. Geez. What's wrong with you people?? At $250 who cares what it's worth in a year if its still working for them? What is any $250 piece of exercise equipment worth after a year of use?? Smgdh!
If you only plan on using it for a year and not heavily. Go for it, if you plan on something you will use several times a week for over a year or heavy use for less than a year, then buy a C2 even if its used. Sorry to say that cheap rowers dont last very long. That's what they are trying to explain to you.

Lol. I GET what they are saying. SERIOUS rowers (or people "serious" about any activity for that matter) should spend $1000 or more on gym-quality equipment. Duh. This is a thread about a $250 rower. Someone who already is into rowing daily or is otherwise a "serious" rower would never buy this machine. This is for someone with $250 (not $1000) and wants a home rower while many gyms are still closed. THAT is what I'm trying to explain to them (and you apparently). The fact is home exercise equipment purchases result in some of the most buyers remorse of any other "big" purchases. People in the market for a bargain rower will probably use this a handful of times. Why blow $1000 or MORE on gym quality equipment that may not get used? Then you have to deal with the hassle of selling it, irregardless of whether it holds it value. Geez. This isn't rocket science.
