Just to save some time for when people don't bother to read the thread before asking questions I'm sticking some of the answers to the questions they will repeatedly ask here for reference Smilie

No these are not Chase/UR points- they are IHG hotel points.

No these do not have a cash value- they're hotel points.

AS hotel points their value will vary greatly- this might be enough for 7 nights someplace, or 2 nights another place... in GENERAL IHG points are worth roughly 0.5 cents each toward the cash rate of a given room- but this can vary significantly from one property to another.

Yes this card is subject to 5/24 rules

Yes you can have this card even if you have a DIFFERENT IHG card (and you can stack the benefits of both)

Yes the card has an annual fee, but the free annual night typically offsets that (or lets the card even be profitable above the annual fee)

No, the card isn't really worth using for any "normal" spending compared to other cards once you've made the signup bonus spend other than the 25pts/$ spent at IHG bit.

One of the worst point value cards out there and even worse now what they've gotten rid of their quarterly PointBreaks list of discounted properties.

Thanks to Knightshade for a good list of Q&A's.

First off, they just had a 140k bonus on this exact card that ended June 30th.

However, this offer may be better for some.

Same card benefits, but you get 75k after $2k spend with no first year fee and a $150 statement credit after first purchase.

https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/...G#benefits

Also, take note that IHG is now reducing the amount of redeeming points on certain hotels on certain nights. Not as good as point break rates, but it is an improvement.
