I've got a FX-8350, too much of a bottleneck?

Why is that Gigabyte is always the cheapest in price among the competition?
They are lumped with msi for build quality issues from time to time.. make absolutely sure you can return or exchange if you have issues.. and that your not paying $30 return shipping for that 'privilege'

The last time I posted this people freaked out about drivers and derailed a slick deal. Let's get in front of that this time... see here for details. AMD has fixed previous 5700 series driver issues. This is a great price, thank you sr71

I'm running this very card in my 3900X build and it has been awesome, no issues whatsoever. I'm on Adrenaline ver 20.4.2. With AOC CQ27G2 27" 1440p 144Hz freesync monitor.

There are multiple reasons to jump on this Gigabyte card. Value, direct price comps, and thermals. It's the sweet spot for $ per performance. Directly comparing, the Sapphire Pulse 5700XT is on sale also for higher, at $380 AC + $4 shipping on Newegg. And this Gigabyte card has better thermals than that Sapphire.
Is this card metal compatible for Later MacOS?

I honestly don't know the answer. Replying to give an answer, but I'm sorry I don't know. Perhaps redditors or other folks here have commented on that for this card.

I don't know for sure, but my experiences with the lesser RX 590 is that even that card wasn't being fully utilized in my old PC with an i5-4670K, until I moved that up to a Ryzen 3600 -- then we were getting 150-300fps in various games at moderate settings.

So, it's possible the 8350 would bottleneck and not let you take advantage of the 5700 XT, since it is an older CPU (albeit with more cores than my old 4670 had).

No. You don't know how to configure your computer. You are the type of person who should stick to Xbox. Seriously. You need to fully uninstall your old drivers in safe mode. Google it.
You are acting like I haven't tried. What made you assume I didn't use ddu or AMD driver uninstaller? Did I need to list every single solution I tried to appease you, including those that were directly proposed by AMD? You are the type of person who should stick to keeping yourself off the internet than rudely insult people on slickdeals.

Is this the way to go vs the MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT? The MSI version is $360 after rebate.

the reviews you're referring to are stale, a revised Evoke had been out since Sept/Oct 19 and Newegg has sold out several time so old stock is unlikely. just reading the reviews by date would show that

Avoid Evoke at any cost! Unless you want a kitchenware. MSI has overheating problems except premium model. The review says memory temperature at 100 Celsius under 100% fan speed.
