Just to put my 2 cents.... I got a pair last october and although they say water or sweat resistant the right ear bud completely broke down after 2 months of working out. Same with replacements they sent. I would be weary if your buying them to workout especially spending this ammount

Best deal till now for US version.
Best buy had the geek squad certified version for $89 last week. This is the plus version which has better battery life.

I dont really care about audio quality much. I need something to use for audiobooks while mowing the grass. I don't care if it's more volume or more noise reduction, but I can't seem to find anything at a reasonable price that I can hear audiobooks over the lawn mower noise. Any recommendations?

Strange how this one gets ignored while all the barely cheaper international and refurbished ones get tons of upvotes. I figure this is the lowest the US version will get before the holidays.
What's up with the "US version" thing? Anything wrong with non-US versions?

Warranty is different. With these things, you want the US warranty.

I have a pair of these already so this comment is just about the audio quality. It's good out of the box. Not great as many of the online reviews will tell you. Here's the tip though- an app like Jet Audio + will help a lot. Also of note- if you like high volume and lots of bass these earbuds will distort. Even at medium loud volume they start to distort and that's with or without using Jet to boost or modulate. They work great with my S20+ and call quality appears to be very good according to the people I talk to.

No, he's right. These have really poor treble resolution, and the intense upper mid frequencies combined with the low resolution treble turn these into a hot mess when the volume goes up. They're honesty not super great to listen to for long periods of time.
Very useful information! Like my music loud, distortion would really p me off.

TWS buds seem to be plagued with consistent volume issues(volume diminishing over time, one bud not as loud as the other, etc, etc.), so I'll stick with my Bomakers till they crap out too... but if that happens I'll only be out thirty bucks. Thanks

Distortion at medium volume? You are the only person to ever say that about these. Dollar for dollar these are the best.
Medium loud not medium. Call it 75% gain and the distortion is pretty obvious. Just to qualify- I've been a sound engineer for about 20 years Smilie

I'll counter this - owned the originals then these. Both sound wise sound very close for music, podcasts etc. They sound very good for all types of music in the 100 to 150 range but don't have the lowest bass if that's important to you.

They are much improved over the original buds for voice calls and have gestures to change volume songs etc.

Battery life is best pretty much of all brands and the fit for me and many others is on point

These are overall great so just buy and see if they work for you.

The 89 dollar refurbs were for the plus, the normal buds refurb went for 59 or 69.

Normal non plus buds are 90 on costco. The new model is just around the corner. You'll see lots more price drops this summer.

Me too but dang it's going to be awhile. In the meantime I'm having to do my Zoom calls for work out loud, pretty annoying to my fiance. "Luckily" I don't have a Sam's Club membership so I can't take advantage of this deal Big Grin
