Does anyone know what the return policy is on these? Would like to buy more than one to use one after the other but wouldn't risk it if you get them and they can't be returned if once received you see they will expire.
30 Days as long as it's not used (15 Days if not a Best Buy Elite Rewards)

any way to keep current mint # with these?
It's a little unwieldy but you could port your current number to Google Voice, and then forward whatever Mint gives you to that GV number. I set up all my kids this way and they can switch from provider to provider taking advantage of new customer deals.

Can I used one of these to port the number to T-Mo, to get one of their phone deals?

Dirt cheap. But mint mobile is significantly subpar.

As with everything in the world, location is vital. At my old job I had no trouble getting great service, but my current job has me located near a busy mall with a lot of congestion, can't even browse Reddit or Twitter sometimes. Once I leave the office I'm back to lighting fast service. I use an old phone so I'm hoping upgrading to a new phone with band 71 will help but if not I'll probably leave Mint soon after.

If you live in a great location then the value is amazing, but if not it quickly loses its appeal.

Yes, you'll just have to port your number over or take the new number associated with the prepaid kit.

I don't think they count prepaid providers let alone one's that use their own network as eligible for new customer phone deals, but your best bet is asking them.

Mint is great. Been with them for years. They also have a nice referral program... 5 friends and you get 1 free year of service.
May I ask how does referral work? For example if I have 2 number, can I refer myself and take advantage of this deal for both of my numbers? TIA

I believe you have to be a mint customer with one line before you get a referral link. The referral link could then be used to activate your second line.

When I looked at it, (yes it could have changed) the referral person had to order directly from Mint and activate for the referral to be processed.

Your paying more than the Best Buy Promo prices, and your waiting for 5 purchases before you get anything.

If your a social media person where you might be able to push this referral program it looks like it might have some benefits, otherwise feels like a lot of hoops to jump through.

I did one Best Buy Promo about 5 months ago. I might do this one. I second getting a Google Voice number only way to go.

When you become a customer.... You download the app. Inside the app is your own referral link. Every time someone signs up at your link, you get credit. It's best to know the phone number of the person signing up at your link so you can call with that info in case you have an issue.

I used to have Mint and the price and the service were great, but it had a terrible reception. There was about a 5-second delay when receiving or making a call.
I might try them again (since they have a 7-Day return policy) to see if they have improved, but the delay connection is something to worry about.

I wish someone could take my referral and get an even better deal while keeping me out too.
