Is the expiration date 45 days after purchase or the date printed on the package?

I've bought these before, both activated between 3-10 months after purchase, no problems. First purchase was from Mint itself not Best Buy

So is Mint subpar to T-Mobile ? Is it possible their service has improved now that own all of Sprint's towers?
Yes, it's definitely subpar in some aspects when you compare it to T-Mobile: domestic roaming is limited to T-Mobile (and Sprint?) towers, and international roaming rates are atrocious. And in these aspects--especially the first one--Mint is going to stay subpar to T-Mobile.

Edit: forgot probably the biggest reason why Mint is subpar to T-Mobile--network priority. T-Mobile customers are prioritized over Mint customers on T-Mobile towers which means Mint customers will be slowed down first, and will experience worse speeds during a slowdown.

Mint and Tello are my top trustworthy and trouble-free mobile services. I got burnt by Mango/Black wireless and Venn mobile.
I am giving visible mobile a try right now. crossing fingers
Don't like Redpocket.
Tracfone is just too pricey for daily uses. It however is a good option for backup phone usage.

whats the definition of a new customer? Is there a 'cooling-off' period if you were with them before?

My Mint 8GB for 3 months for $45 arrives today. Sorry, I should have posted - looks like it is gone from BestBuy.

You can call and ask them to do price adjustment. If they say on, just return and re-buy.

Will this still work if I previously bought a plan with them with another deal or do I have to use another name and email? I don't currently have them for my service

Under my family plan I'm paying $25 a month for 2GB only. Sad....

I tried one of the willie nillie free three month plans that mint was just giving away. I found the service subpar compared to parent company T-Mobile service. Same conditions, next to each other, mint was not loading websites. But T-Mobile was and it was repeatable too at different locations.

I want to switch everyone to a cheaper plan.
Why take the family to Tmobile. You can pay $30 a month for unlimited.
