How do I use my current number into this sim? just call their customer service? and what's it called, port the number?
Yes, it's called porting and you can call customer service or start the port yourself at mintmobile.com/activation. Make sure you have your account# and PIN from your old carrier. I don't remember if Mint also asks for the registered billing zip code on the old account.

Price is back to $45 it seems. So this was only valid for one day 7/7 ?
It was a "deal of the day" on their website

Thanks. Just picked up my SIM card.

During the last deal, I bought multiples...and put a new sim in phones for everyone in the house. But we all use google voice. And Over the past 3 months....no one has gone out but me.

So this time, I only bought a sim for my phone...everyone else is home and will still receive calls to their google voice number through home WiFi. (Love google voice)

Feels terribly cheap...but no one is going anywhere.

$30 for unlimited? Through mint? Why would i pay more for something i don't need? Like i said in the post you quoted. I tried the service. It's subpar. I don't need unlimited. And what's the point of unlimited if the service doesn't even work. It's slower than T-Mobile and sometimes doesn't even load or connect. No one goes over allocation. T-Mobile lets me roam internationally for free abet at 2G speeds but it works. Connected at LTE but throttled. But I have data during travels.
International data travel from t-mobile is overrated. I was in Japan with international phone unlocked and mobile had the 2g but barely. Had to rent Hotspot device. Same issue in iceland, when I got stuck in volcanic ash and could not find service. My friend had local Sim card he got at airport and it has 4g at least.

I jumped in with Mint and things started great, but recently, probably the last month, my connections have been dropping really bad and I haven't been able to connect in many cases.

No changes on my side. Mint used to have a virtual chat bot but now, it seems like they do not have anything or any way to contact support online.

Now, I'm regretting buying a 1 year block with them. Be advised. Things change after you're out of the return window.
