Gloves don't really insulate that well in my experience
Have you used these particular gloves? All I really need is the gloves but the tray is a bonus

Yes, the gloves pictured are garbage, silicone only, no liner, you will feel the heat immediately
Have you experienced these gloves in particular? Cant find reviews on them and need some high heat gloves

I have experienced them, they do not hold up to even taking something out of the oven, much less the grill
What you need are either welding gloves (already built to withstand high heat)

or a grill glove similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

the gloves pictured in this "deal" have no inner liner, they are only silicone of which can take the heat but they will pass the heat through to your hands

Speaking of grill covers - can anyone point me to a 100"one? I haven't been able to find a replacement for the one for my Weber S-330 with grill islands.

The gloves are not sufficient for taking trays out of the oven IMO; the heat passes through the gloves immediately... A career cook might disagree and call me a wimp. YMMV

These are the gloves [mscdirect.com] I use for oven, grill and fireplace. They work just fine but over time will burn a bit. Usually I have 2 pairs in use - one for kitchen and the other for the fireplace (we burn wood in the winter). The fireplace set gets abused the most as I am often sticking my hands in the fire briefly, or even picking up/rearranging logs. Once they get ratty enough, I demote the kitchen pair to the fireplace and replace the kitchen pair with a brand new set (and toss the burned pair right in the fire!)

I've purchased many different kinds of high heat gloves for work through Amazon, as my profession often deals with temperatures of up to 800F. You can get gloves that can take that heat (although for only a period of time) but have ZERO dexterity - making them useless. You need to find a balance between heat resistance and being able to use them. Most of the "grill" versions on Amazon are essentially all the same with different silicone printing on the outside. Note that most of them will require a stitch in each finger to prevent the inner liner from pulling out when you take them off.

The best fix for these gloves is a 99 cent pair of brown jersey gloves as a liner. Other than that, they just keep your hands dry.

You can get the Flat Veggie Grill Pan [yukonglory.com] for $13 w/ code YGFVP13.
So I compared this flat veggie tray to the Weber veggie tray. Exact same dimensions and design. Is Yukon Glory just a knock off company? Can anyone with a rep greater than 30 comment on the quality?
Weber tray for reference. This is their top of the line series. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000W...bFbPDB2H2V

Do the welding gloves allow you to hold a 500 degree pan? For how long? I had purchased these suede gloves and am very disappointed with how quickly the heat passes through it (sometimes 10 seconds before I can't hold it any longer)
