If you are spending this much on a sound system, do not buy a soundbar. You can get a much better sounding system with a receiver and speakers.

That's weird because usually speakers are autovolt.

In the website (https://www.samsung.com/ph/audio-video/hw-q90r/), it says free voltage though.

Sure, but sometimes you got no space to place all those speakers in your room so you buy a high end soundbar like this one.

Which would you recommend? Most popular review sites for tech don't seem to have very many reviews for full fledge home theater systems. Just sound bars.

I have vaulted ceilings, about 25 ft. So I got room.

I would advice you to go on the avsforums and make a detalied post there. Some really helpfull and knowledgeable people on there will be happy to assist you and point in the right direction.

I can see how this fits into the market at this price point but it just seems crazy to spend $1k on a soundbar, and especially a Samsung at that. I know you're not going to put together a great system with speakers/receiver/subwoofer for $1k but I just can't imagine this being worth the price point when there are options from Klipsch, Polk, Yamaha, JBL, and others for much less. Even the Sonos beam systems come close to this price.

I wonder if anyone has experience of using them for PC? I would like to set up a good speaker system for my PC. Thanks in advance!

Recently bought a 77" C9 and a Bose 700 sound bar and Bass module.

I still have time to return it but is it a good option to complement the C9? All features work between two different brands?

I'm new to home theater stuff and this was my first tv purchase since 2008.
Yes this works great with an LG C9 via eARC port

Might be worth mentioning Atmos Soundbar in the title

At this price point isn't Sonos better or is that even more expensive?

Woops, not $97.99.
If it were... I would have cleaned them out.

They reinvented and upscaled the HTiB (Same as with netbooks becoming UltraBooks)
People just want something as close to plug & play as they can get....
