FYI - Past two generation versions of this have issues with audio sync issues. If you only plan to use the built in audio your likely okay.

I ordered one from Amazon and noticed that TV heats up really quickly. It gets hotter than any TV I have come across. Works great as a space heater I suppose. Is this normal?
Well it pulls a lot more power than your average tv. It should be fine.

Oh wow really, the AVS forum where the members return 5 tvs before they find the one "without any problems". That place is a joke.
Not really sure where you are coming from. This problem is pretty distracting if you are a gamer. Who cares where it was posted. What's wrong with returning a tv model until you get a good one? If I pay $1000 or any price for a tv you better damn well believe I will return them until I get a good one as bad as QC is these days. A lot of helpful and highly respected members on the AVS forums.

Is it worth the extra $150 more vs the H8? Looking to one for my parents, who aren't too picky

yes. but if they are not picky and their last tv is 60hz and motion blur does not bother them then no. picture on the h8g looks great.

Ugh I am seeing the same thing.

Lot of people starting to post about it in the AV forums. Hisense is supposedly saying its not on all TVs and they are replacing the ones that get reported.

I put in a ticket with Hisense, I'll report back the results.

I own the 55" H9F and it seems like the 55" versions of these TV's have a ton of issues, more as they age. I haven't seen as many issues with the 65" versions.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that this is $650 for a TV that performs similarly to a TV that's $900+.

Hisense has come a long way, and if you can buy 2 of these for the price of an OLED.... then ok.

But it doesn't. That's the problem.

Interesting. I thought this was the perfect budget tv with some of the best image quality that beats all other budget tv out there. But I guess it's a mixed bag like everything.
There are some great reviews on YouTube that don't mention this motion blur yet. Unless it is a panel lottery issue then atleast serious gamers may have to pass.
So did you say this motion blur is not noticeable on movie and shows, but only games?
(Maybe most owners dont notice it or it doesn't bother them as much. Similar to owners of TCL r625 sometimes complaining about motion not always looking great, while most of them are ok with it).
-----
Now this along with miniled/120hz/ hdmi 2.1 are features the newer unreleased TCL 6 and 8 2020 models can try to beat the Hisense 9g with later this year......

Check the H9G owners thread. There may be a software update to address this. I have mine sitting in the box, have yet to set up. When exactly does the issue occur ? I will test mine. I also own a X900F and OLED to compare it too. I know it wont be better than the OLED, but I dont game on OLED.

Point me towards any OLED for $1000 please... Oh, wait... There aren't any. None. Zero. Zip. If you could link it it would go FP in 10 minutes.
Doesn't seem that far off I've seen refurbs on the c9 going for 999

Uh huh. This isn't a refurb thread. Go ahead and post a deal for a new OLED for $1000 or less. Doubt you can find a refurb for that price either, but that is comparing apples to oranges.

Post one and we will buy it. Otherwise you are dreaming. Few retailers even have stock of the B9/C9.

Street prices on 55" OLEDs are close to $1000. They can't be touched by any LCD.
What street is this?
