I also posted the XPG Gammix S11 Pro (which is this exact same SSD with a built in heat sink) for $5 more ($134.99 no coupon needed): https://slickdeals.net/f/14182343-xpg-gammix-s11-pro-1tb-pcie-nvme-gen3x4-m-2-2280-ssd-134-99?src=catpagev2_SearchBarV2_cat

Because this is as good as it gets without shelling out much more for a Samsung

I dont recommend getting any gen3 m2. Gen4 is the FUTURE
And how many of us are transferring around huge files from nvme to nvme? The price premium for gen4 isn't worth it for the vast majority of people. Even mechanical drives can saturate gigabit if you're transferring over your intranet. 10 gigabit hardware is still well out of my price range.

The moniker gen3x4 is confusing consumers into thinking it may be pcie4 which it is not... Pcie4 rocks but is near $200 for the 1tb.. but we are due for some price cuts... A whole year went by without any significant price cuts.. this time we are due for some...

Yup. You've got this one, the EX920/950 and the Sabrent Rocket for almost-as-good performance for a lot less.
