With the state of supply chains due to the obvious, deals like those don't really exist right now unfortunately. This is a solid price IMO for a quality SSD currently.

I ordered two of these last year and they are currently listed as my poop drives. They don't sustain fast reads and I can't even get a benchmark out of them anymore. Just go samsung

I dont know what to tell you really. I've never had issues with Adata and an equivalent Samsung is like $200

Mine is running strong as my primary with no issues whatsoever. My Samsung Evo 970 is game slave drive, runs hotter by 20°c and R/W are about equal... Not sure why your having issues but it might be user error...

Does the heatsink matter if my B550 motherboard already has a built-in NVMe heatsink?

Interesting video I found comparing M.2 SSD performance and temperatures with and without heatsinks.

I got the 1TB SN750 added to cart on WD website, also $134.99, but pulled the trigger on this instead as it has comparable performance and with a heat sink. My TUF x570 MB has 1 slot with heat sink (which a SN750 512MB is sitting on) and 1 slot without (which this new SSD will go in)

Thanks, OP, repped!

I just went back to the site, and it says the 1TB SN750 is out of stock, although the item in my cart is still showing $134.99. It probably will say out of stock if I check out.
