Yes, but this is SlickDeals, not AverageDeals.... the low in February for Amazon was $119.97 and just 2 days ago, third party on Amazon was $124.66 .... in my opinion, those are the numbers to match, beat or come close to.

But, if you just have to have it... what is $10 for an aspirin if you have a headache?

Not a good deal & too many extensions included as fillers.
Give me extensions over screw bits as filler any day.

Big and heavy. I recommend the Tekton complete 3/8 set.

The big attraction here is the sheer number of sockets, this is pretty close to a completist set for the DIY'er. And they're all 6 point, including in 1/2" drive (not common in comparable big box store sets). Less bit filler than most sets, you're simply getting a buttload of chrome here.

Major con is that the folding case is a huge height and width, and loaded with all those sockets it's unwieldy. A chest with trays would have been much more manageable for those intending to keep this portable. Obviously no combo wrenches included either, for those that want everything in one box.

Explain to me where you see this as a FP post.

Yeah this shouldn't be on the FP unless this set is around $100. Similar sets are all around $100 when on sale and the quality as as good if not better.
You've got to be kidding me. What sets are similar, are $100 and the quality as good if not better? If you say the Husky and Kobalt sets, I'll just laugh you out of the room as those have so many fillers (just look at how many screwdriver bits they have). They do have one distinct advantage in that you can quickly get a warranty replacement as there are more Home Depots and Lowe's than DeWalt service centers.

How are extensions fillers? Have you ever turned a wrench before?

I totally agree that the case is deceptively heavy and can be better served in a stacked tray set than in a clamshell design.

This price isn't the lowest it's been, but they don't seem to be discounted for very long periods either.

Bought one of these for my Son last Christmas as he is just starting out and this is the best set Dewalt has for the value. No one can touch it in pricing and quality! ALL the sockets are 6 point also! I haven't used a 12 point socket in years! As far as lack of wrenches? Wrench sets are plentiful and pick your favorites whether Dewalt or any company. Again this is the Best Kit for the money if your starting a quality tool set! As another poster stated previously, the set is large and heavy so if you want something mobile are perhaps carry in the car Dewalt has a bunch of other tool sets that are smaller in size and of course with less tools.

Picked this set up from Sears a number of years ago for about $100. It's handled everything I've thrown at it. Very heavy but I've been happy.

I thought sears unloaded it for $80. Maybe there was a coupon to. That was outstanding

I like the set a whole lot, loads of pieces. Know that it isn't really much of a portable set with soo many pieces, it can be heavy to carry around.
