Thanks! Was able to get the bundle ordered this time - but had to choose store pickup for the batteries.

I previously bought the washer when it was bundled with the batteries online (so I couldn't return just the battery kit...I have plenty). Now I'll return the stuff I just ordered with the first receipt, and the batteries I just ordered (if I can't cancel them), and end up with just the washer.

I used the washer for the first time this morning, to clean my gas grill that hasn't been used in a couple years (due to a move and other factors). Worked great to get the heavy grime off! Love it!
That is sad.

Let's see how this works out for you all. I've checked out 4 different times at 3 different stores to pick up power cleaner at store and had battery ship to home. All 4 transactions were coming back canceled within an hour. I was doing this over the weekend. And after the transaction got canceled the item is removed from being available for store pickup despite there being stock available at the store (you can check more accurate stock by calling the store and give them sku to check inventory). The first store that canceled at least had the decency to call and tell me they canceled it because there was no such SKU for the power cleaner. The other transactions got canceled without advance notice. I ended up just going to one store to buy the battery (but no cleaner) and return/rebuy the battery at second store that had the cleaner but no battery. Receipt shows prorate for both items so deal is still good at store level

What happens if you fail to pick up the batteries in store? I already bought the batteries with another tool, don't need more batteries.

I ordered last night with shipping to home for the tool and battery pickup in a store I don't usually go to as my closest ones didn't have the batteries in stock. Immediately after completing the transaction, I logged into homedepot.com and viewed the purchase and cancelled just the batteries. Note that this does not work on the app for some reason, you need to access the site via a browser. This morning the tool has already shipped at a prorated cost of $44.24 and expected to arrive on Saturday.

You have several options:
a) click on your order page to cancel the order online for the batteries only (this option varies from order to order)
b) cancel the batteries only, by calling the store
c) wait and do nothing unit the store cancels the batteries
d) selecting option "c" sometimes runs the risk of the order status eventually showing as "Picked Up" even if you did not actually pick up the batteries, which then forces you to ultimately do option "b" to get a refund.

So for me, the batteries never showed up able to be canceled, just the cleaner tool. I'm thinking about not picking up the batteries from the store and they will have to cancel that part of the order.

I've been using mine to clean random stuff like kitty litter box, bird poop (so much poop everywhere) with the turbo nozzle as the choice for it. I've never used other brands or it's types so I can't say how it competes for similar types and cost. But to get two batteries And this was too good of a deal for me to pass up and I don't regret it. I always figured I could sell the power washer second hand to cover costs if I didn't need it but I do.
I've used it to clean window screens as well. You have to be kind of close when using it. There are some YouTube videos of people reviewing it that show how it works and sprays. I've just been using a 5 gallon bucket though for a water source. Ideally I'd want a backpack that I could refill and wear instead of carrying a bucket would be a game changer for how I've been using it. It also comes with an adapter for attaching a normal hose to it for water source.
I own 4 other ryobi tools.

I bought this a while back, but my regjlar garden hose with a $15 sprayer wand put out more power than this. Returned it a few days later.

I simply cannot think of a reason to own this?

Perhaps if:

You are a collector of Ryobi tools.

You thought the color was pretty.

Wanted to get your Brachioradialis (sp?) all ripped and "Swole up" without knowing you were giving it a workout.

Hmm I don't see an option at all to cancel the battery order, only option is to cancel the power cleaner order

Beside it being cordless is there any other advantage of it over a dedicated power washer ?

Dont expect it work like a 3000psi pressure washer! Most of the times, you dont need that kind of pressure (it will do damage to things at that pressure).

Not only it saves water, but does a great job for most common things, washing cars, grill, sidewalk etc.

Looks like a good deal. They make it look like only $9 shipping to home for batteries but once you put in payment it turns into $79. Had to change batteries to store pick up while the pressure washer is ship to home.

Top-cash-back has 8% back for homedepot. Not sure if it will go through as not sure if considered appliances or not. If you have discover it card, looks like 5% back when using it with PayPal.
