Just learned about this while talking to AT & T customer retention department and they said it officially starts tomorrow. You have to provide proof (check stub, teaching license, id badge, etc.)
Saved me quite a bit of money. You can do this in a local store or call and they can email you a link to upload proof.

We also were able to get 4 IPhone 11 for $58 per month after $10 monthly credit but that was not teacher related. Didn't have to turn in our old phones either.

If I have an account under my name and my wife is the teacher do I still qualify?
In those situations do it online. They'll ask for an email from work and they'll just verify the account that way

Just like any other company discount. Read the small print the 25% off applies to data fees only. That's the blowing smoke in your face. Wow 25% off ? Nope. 25% off 70% of the bill - so technically it's 25% off. Just not what you're actually thinking. Bait and switch as always for the sheep. Baa baa baa (pass - no thanks)

No joke, probably double. Depends if you can keep it under one group or split it into two separate family groups. They have to run credit and tell you for sure. Anything over 5 lines often will trigger an anti-fraud measure. I'm not trying to dissuade you, just letting you know there may be more hoops if you're doing more than 5 lines. Unfortunately, it also depends on your market! Some areas will require additional security questions.

The short answer, if you can get the 8 lines, worst case is the rate is double the 4 line rate, or you can usually add about $30 for each additional line over the first 4. Taxes, line access fees. All the other excuses they find to charge extra: not included.

Beware, the 25% off probably works for the "main" line and not the additional lines from family plan, at least that's how gov employee discounts are applied so I assume it's the same here. So the discount is much smaller than you think if you have a family plan.

I'm paying $133 for 2 lines on their top tier plan.
My hospital discount is $15 off the plan.
When I use their website calculator it's comes out to $7 less per month....

I really hope I'm missing something because $7 is pointless.

I submitted the verification off my states BRN to verify I'm an RN. Said it'll update in 2-3 billing cycles.

I'll call tomorrow and talk to a rep and see how much I'll actually save.
