Other one expired. Good to see they're back in stock. I ended up going with an AMD ThinkPad, but I liked this very much. Only bad features are a meh screen (fine for inside and not bad once you tweak the color settings) and a meh keyboard (honestly pretty normal for this price). Otherwise a great, upgradeable machine, and buying from Costco is always a plus.

Not a good price. There have been better deals posted.
This is solid if you don't mind the flaws, and Costco is one of the best retailers to buy a laptop from in the U.S.

What are the flaws, and why are they the best to buy from?

Pretty much anywhere where they sell computers haha. Check on here for deals on both, they occasionally have good ones. SSD already has a decent 512gb though. RAM should run about $65-$70 for 16gb.

They have a 90 day turn policy, free 2 year warranty, and an extra two free years of warranty if you buy with their Citi credit card. They're much more willing to help you with your purchase than Best Buy or Amazon, certainly.

Flaws with the laptop are display and keyboard, like I said earlier. Not unusable by any means, but definitely would have preferred it a little brighter.

Which ThinkPad did you go with? I really like those as well but it seems like those are at a higher price point.

All these Ryzen deals are basically made or break on ram upgradeability. Lol.

It does not have to be "their" citi credit card. People need to stop saying this. Other cc that can extend warranty can stack too.
