Ironically, if you look through the reviews, one of them posts a picture that says to use on adult beds only and NOT on a toddler bed. I was thinking of getting this for a crib and that changed my mind. Just thought I would share for safety.

I dont think you or they know what a toddler bed is. They are those little in between bed frames that often have rails built in and are character or movie themed. These work great on convertible cribs. I have one of these and so do most of the reviewers (with pictures).

Okay, even if you are correct as to the definition of a toddler bed, look at the safety label. It clearly says for use "on Adult Bed only." I wouldn't consider a convertible crib an adult bed.

I think the Pediatricians Association recommends against all attachments and crib/bed accessories due to a very small risk of SIDS. However, most parents find the benefit of these things is worth the risk and use them anyway. So I'll bet the Adult Bed Only label is just for legal liability reasons.

That is very possible. I'm not advocating for or against the item at all. I just found information online that I as a parent would want to know and just wanted to share it with the community. Smilie

Adding an after market product to a crib is not safe. Read your crib manuals and also the AAP guidelines. Bed rails can lead to entrapment
