Just noticed that MicroCenter is selling their microSD card on Amazon.
Price looks good for U3/V30. This meets the required speed by cameras like Osmo Pocket.

Isn't that you should format it in FAT-32 & not exfat ?
Yes, but then I can't put any files (movies) larger than 4GB on the card.

When your drive reads/writes only FAT 32, you either have to stay under 64GB card size or forget about the large file size write or maybe best, upgrade to a newer, better device!

Anyone try this in a dashcam?
not yet. waiting for 128gb. i'm sure it'll be fine. i've used samsung 128gb u3 in pos mobius maxi @2.7k, in pos Yi nightcrap, now in pos garmin mini. before dashcams used with dashcam apps in a phone at high res 60fps in heat. i use microcenter branded 32gb in wyzecams. No problems.

I have an SD card from 2009 from MicroCenter that I used to mod my Wii. Still runs fine today. So that one at least lasted a decade
The flash nand is WAY robust in old cards from 2009 than nowadays. The old cards probably had SLC nand. The newer ones, planar TLC nand.

Update! The 256 in my dash cam is perfect. No issues of any kind.
However it will take a long time to fill the card to the rim.
Several hours of videos so far.
Like the lyrics to the song. "no particular place to go"

I wonder if this is Better than my 256 GB PNY Elite micro SD card I bought at Wally world for like $18 a few months ago. Then I picked up a 128 GB Verbatim SD as a open box buy at Microcenter for $12.99

Back in stock!

256 is at the right price point. Remember that large files in FAT 32 may not transfer properly. Most dash cams format a card in FAT 32. Point and shoot cameras may even have their own formatting protocol. My high end Sony is that way/maybe. Anyway records 4K movies with no issues other than the camera getting hot after 10 minutes.

Question! After 30 days and a hard failure do we send it back to Micro Center or Inland?
Just curious as no Micro center near me.
The Switch card at $55 is too rich for me.

Thank you for posting this, I've been looking for a larger card for my photos.
I found this 256g for 21.99 with seemingly high reviews. Anyone have experience with them? I am overprotective with my family photos.

64GB now showing $9.99
Back to $8.99 again. I haven't checked the rest.

I'll buy it for music on my refurb TracFone. I just use it for music when I Uber versus my regular phone because it would go off frequently. My 6mo Spotify is up so I need to add a bunch of regular music.

Amazon also has the Samsung Evo 128 for $18.99, but I don't need the quality in my cheap phone.

I put a 256 GB in my wyze cam and it works without any issues. Did it on two of my cameras.
Got a question might be out of topic. About the wyze, would it still record to local storage/micro SD even when the wifi goes out? Needing to set up cameras for my relatives. Thank you in advance.

its supposed to like both...
You'll need to ensure the Micro SD card is formatted with the FAT32 or exFAT file system so the Fire Tablet can read it. Most SD cards should come formatted with these file systems. If in doubt, right-click the SD card in the Computer view in Windows, select "Format", and ensure the correct file system is selected.

I have a micro center in my Wyze cam v2, it's a 32gb though which I believe is the max for the Wyze cam
I have a 64GB in my wyze cam and it shows 64gb capacity. It is the V2 tho so maybe the older ones had a limit?
