One problem I am facing with dual band is, not being able to connect with Chromecast in a efficient way. Either my phone or Chromecast constantly changing bands, most of the time my phone doesn't detect Chromecast.

I have been using it for last 8 months and happy about it... sometimes (once a month or so) for 3-5 mins signal drop, and connected devices stopped loading. But it corrected back by itself. I think that's natural and won't mind. I have been connecting 8-10 devices through wifi to it and all good.

Is there a misprint? Ethernet says upto 100 while WiFi is 1200 combined?
No misprint, A5/C5 has 100M WAN, perfect for pre-covid AOL dial-up

I don't understand why router manufacturers make routers with max 100 mbps hardwired connection. It's asking for becoming obsolete.. we are in age of 10gb Ethernet speeds..

I bought this refurbished by tplink from eBay for $20. Very, very basic. I had wanted to use it as a cheap repeater, but doesn't even have that functionality. This model is also going as the C50 (same model and firmware). There is an experimental openwrt firmware but I unfortunately ended up bricking it when trying to enter the recovery mode to flash it. Going to just pony up for a used 68U or something. IMO stay clear of this and get something more capable.

How do you get WiFi 1200Mbps from 100 WAN/LAN connection well you don't
this configuration usually means it has an Access point / Wireless Bridge / WiFi Repeater functions
you connect this router to existing router wirelessly and take advantage of 1200Mbps and increase WiFi range
