Unfortunately no. They damage the motor inside the pressure washer.

I use Dawn dishwashing liquid, diluted about 20:1 with water. Never a problem with my Ryobi power washer.

Yes, I should Wonder if these products really leave much of a wax coating. I always used to hand wax.

That's a no no. Don't use dishwasher detergent to wash your car.

It's a no-no unless he's looking to strip everything off for a fresh application, otherwise... everyone uses dawn dish soap to remove contaminants, oils, waxes, and sealants.

I do dawn dish soap wash about once a year... FL is full of grime and fresh tar on the roads (in orl). It's just easier for me to run over the entire car with dish soap, then apply sealant.

Interesting video that should put an end to this debate. Doesn't mean you should use dish soap to wash your car. As a detailer, I recommend to go and buy something that will clean your car like this soap for maintenance washes, and if you want to actually strip wax, Adam's Polishes makes a great wax stripper.

TY for that! myth busted.... I will resume normal washes in that case!

I will also consider Adam's wax stripper Smilie.

That will strip the wax. Your paint will fade quicker.
