this thing is 85cm long
less than a meter.
you're not going to clean very far into your vent with this.
seems like junky new branding on something that's been around a while. "lint lizard" was a version on tv I think lol

Edit: "Popular" at 5TU lol

Seems all that Amazon & their sellers have to do these days is make up a fake higher price on an item not even worth half that, give a discount to make it look like a great deal and have people hype it on the deal forums. 21st century style shilling!

We have something like this. It is disgusting what gets sucked out. 3 year old dryer filled our Dyson the first time and we clean the lint trap every load.

The nozzle isn't super long, but it can reach enough inside the dryer. We had to have a repair tech out recently because a spindle broke that led to the belt breaking. He commented how it was one of the cleanest he had ever seen a dryer under the drum before.

Better off taking 5 mins removing the top and the front cover of the dryer and doing a full cleaning once a year.

That's not how mine works. I don't think there is any access on mine on the top or front; only the back. And moving it for me is unreasonable for periodic maintenance (pedestals, 300lb washer next to it).

If i recall correctly so long as you can access the back of the top cover you don't technically need to move it. At least for samsung, 2 screws at the back, top cover slides off and then rest comes off after that quite easily

i do agree with you that it should not be expected to disassemble half of your dryer yearly to properly clean it but unfortuntaly i don't know of any better way

I often get coupons in the mail for dryer vent cleaning for some ridiculous price like $99 and always wonder why you wouldn't just go to the hardware store and buy a new vent hose for $20 and replace the old clogged one. Am I missing something here? Is it more complicated than that?

So it's just a smaller hose that attaches to your vacuum hose? I'd suggest to just get one of those drier lint brushes that are like $5 at most stores. They work great and can be used to clean other things like refrigerators coils etc.

I'm assuming that price is for the whole dryer vent duct cleaning, not the piece that is attached on the back of the unit.
for the duct cleaning, they attach a brush to a drill and run it through the whole ducting, removing all the lint trapped throughout the system.
