you can sometimes find better price new on ebay but this is lowest price on Amazon since Black Friday/December 2019

I've owned several wrist and upper arm cuffs and I really like this one

it is very hassle-free, you can use it standalone or you just push one button on your phone and the device to make it save the last 100 readings you just did and make a nice graph

no wires means you just slide it all the way up your arm below the armpit, sit still for 20 seconds and done, it is very fast

it's extremely quiet but not 100% quiet

reads higher than my wrist monitors but I trust this one more than any wrist device

bonus made in Japan, when was the last time that happened

added: darn it amazon, they just "smart priced" it to $68, maybe check Sunday late night for price drop since they tend to play games like that, slight bump before drop

QA Edit: Now $69.99 and says in stock on July 26 but you can still order it.

adding:

also now at walmart for $69.99 with free "next day" delivery to some cities

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Omron-.../326384298 NLA

and now $69.99 at Best Buy

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/omro...Id=6265652

price multi-search but not all stores

check amazon after sunday nights for price drops, prices tend to go up there over weekends

Think it's been this price for a while but this is an EKG that's HSA/FSA eligible and it works on the same app as the Omron BP cuff. They partnered with Omron so the quality of this EKG should be good.

Omron platinum is currently cheaper, available sooner and looks like a better device.

Something to be said about a one piece design. I have an Omron two piece like the one you posted and it's a bit clumsy. Also, it has Bluetooth which sounds good but prob only useful if you are sending your BPs to health care providers. Otherwise the memory on the device is fine.

Also new BP7000 is $59.88 on eBay for new sealed with 392 sold from seller.

Just FYI, this model takes only one BP reading. It does not take the average of three consecutive measurements, unlike other Omron models

I have this. I had hard time to connect it to my Google pixel 3X phone. Finally it connected to my Bluetooth. I just kept on trying for an hour or so. The reading is not accurate, always on the high side. In have 3 pressure monitors. One wrist, one arm with tube, and this wireless. I think the one with tube is better.

the thing about BP cuffs is you are only going to use them if they are low/no hassle

anything with cords or hoses has to be set and unset, and in 2020 do you need a full device with it's own screen and big digits? maybe if 65yo+ but not otherwise

evolv is perfect, it's as easy as a wrist meter but upper arm accuracy

only feature more I would want is the 3-automatic-readings/average that they have on other omrons - you'd think they could update the firmware via bluetooth but I guess that's too much of a support hassle these days

still it's easy to push the on/off button a second time if you want another reading and done

slide it off, plop the tube down on any table and walk away

Since you own this, can you tell me how accurate it is? I looked at this one when mine broke and there were reviews about accuracy. I had my old one validated at the doctor's office to see how far off they were. Can this be calibrated or is it accurate out of the box? I do not need bells and whistles, just something reliable and accurate.
I brought my Omron into the doctors office and I had a newer model than he did lol. They both read similar readings but we're both Omron too.

Also these have gone up in price as I bought my Omron a few years ago and it was $30. No fancy phone app but has 3 different people option for different logs and records the readings which is really all you need. Walmart also seems to be around this price every day for similar models as I just looked at an Omron yesterday and it was $49.99 at my local store. Mother in law's is ancient so I was giving her an idea in the price of a new one.

Can you please share the model for the one with tube? Trying to get a good one for my father. Thank you.

I was recommended Kardia by my doctor, but there seemed to be a subscription fee. I do not know if they have removed that requirement. They also have other types (e.g. 3 wire) that you might want to check on their site.

There is another company, I believe out of Florida, that has a similar unit, so you might want to yahoo it... Those are the only 2 I found that were FDA approved.

The key to a good blood pressure reading is to make sure you have the correct size cuff. My arm is somewhere between 16 and 17 inches, which is marginal for most standard cuffs or at the high end of the cuff size. I do not know about the tube type but the D style will not leave much velcro left to secure it. At least that was my experience. I reviewed 2 different BP monitor makers last night and it looks like Omron has discontinued a next larger cuff size. I have emailed Omron and 2 other manufactures for their recommendation. A German company and AND Medical. It would be great to have bluetooth, but having accuracy is most important to me. The professional blood pressure machines seem to have at least 3 cuff sizes for this very reason.

There was a question earlier about an Ox-Meter. There was one on sale a few weeks ago. It has a normal and Bluetooth one. I purchased the bluetooth one and although not as nice as the one I inherited from my mom, it seems to work and it will take heart rate monitoring over some duration of time. The report comes to my phone. I did not realize there was a second tab with the historical over time (e.g. a single reading over time) chart. I do not know accuracy, but it seems OK, but it feels hard due to the plastic.

by the way for those mentioning the kardia ekg, it's done in the same app, I have the 6L

omron and kardia seems to be related or owned together somehow

the 6L is probably overkill unless you already know you have pre-existing heart problems, it will only auto-diagnose problems on the first lead so might as well just buy the 1L

they push selling the cloud feature the first month on you, once it expires it just saves the ekg locally which is fine
