Got these for $100, had a $150 Verizon credit to get it down to that, very nice; I always went with the $30 ones and these are noticeably better, Sound, range, comfort and noise cancellation are all fantastic.

Personally not worth more than maybe $150 to me, but I am not an audiophile or Apple guy really. The cheap ones were always 'good enough' for me, but these are a nice upgrade.

Do you hear how rude and snobby you sound? You belong..somewhere..surrounded by a bunch of other elitist jerks.
No, he's right. This isn't about being snobby but rather somebody who's asking for a handout on a luxury item. These aren't an essential item but yet he expects somebody to give him the deal of a lifetime. I sell on offer up, marketplace, etc and the kinds of requests I get are mind-boggling. Some of my favorites are people who are resellers, traveling from a far distance, or don't have enough money asking for a big discount. It's ridiculous and downright obnoxious. If you can't afford something, look for something within your price range. Asking a total stranger for free money is crazy. Especially on SD where people are happy to wait for something for a few dollars off.

Anyone tell me why these are worth $200+ ? I've been using $30 cheapos from Amazon. I've had Beats and Jaybirds and these don't sound that much different. What am I missing?

ANC...The only competition is sony which is better but not as user friendly for apple people.
In addition, microphone quality for calls. Many other wireless headphones have good sound quality but awful microphones. The downside to the upfront high price is that in 2+ years of constant use the battery life will be significantly lower and eventually these become e-waste (like every other fully wireless solution).

Every time Airpods and Airpod Pros hit front page you get these comments... listen, if you have an iPhone these really are the best bang for your buck. If you don't have an iPhone then you may want to consider the only other option in the neighborhood (Sony). That's it, no need for snarky jabs at Apple fans, these are high quality truly wireless earbuds that are well worth it at less than $230.

If you do end up buying these, make sure to try out the different silicone tip sizes for the ANC, I used the Mediums for weeks (they ship with mediums) before trying out the Large and realizing I wasn't getting the full ANC experience because the fit was wrong.

There are literally people who build their lives off of begging. Calm down, if you don't want to help the guy out then don't, it's as simple as that.

Or just get the galaxy buds for 99, which are more highly rated. 215 is a joke.

Would not recommend. Got these last week for 160 (183) after tax. I here a noticeable difference when the ANC is on. They do a great job blocking out the sound of the fan in my room, but that is it. They do nothing to block out people chatting in the next room or assholes on the train. It may be good if your blasting music 24/7 but if you plan on listening to podcasts or watch movies which have moments of silence you''ll still hear everyone around you.

The force push button is terrible. You need to squeeze it in a very specific spot with a decent amount of pressure. It is almost impossible to press it without wiggling them slightly which means you need to readjust them in your ear.

They do a good job staying in my ears while sitting/walking around. They did an OK job while running; they never fell out but I felt them getting loose so I had to preemptively push them back in 3 times over an hour.

Also you need an apple device for firmware updates. Mine arrived with supposedly their worst firmware, I could not use my android to upgrade so I had to borrow a friends iphone for an hour(there is literally no way to trigger the update, it just happens randomly when synced to an iphone)

They're not even worth $100. People are fools for buying into apples asinine prices. You can buy much better headphones for under $100.
People have been making this same post for a decade now. Find something new.

I own the Samsung buds + and they work really well with android phones, I ended up switching to an iPhone but still use the Samsung buds +. I was eyeing this deal but I think I may hold off to see what apple releases in October as I don't really need another set of earbuds. I also read Samsung had a patent for a new earbud design so I would wait for those as well for when they announce the new note. I have nothing against android or apple products. I know apple charges a premium but they do integrate well with their products, shoot, I still use all the google apps on my iphone because I still prefer it, I am just glad the allow you to uninstall most of their apps unlike samsung making me keep their apps on the phone.

So i frequently get dropped connections and poor connections with bluetooth devices around my house, including a 2 different pairs of bluetooth wired headphones by Anker, and a couple of cheapo bluetooth portable speakers. I think it's due to signal congestion in the 2.4GHz band. I know Apple uses a proprietary chip to encode their wireless signal to these headphones. Would that result in less transmission problems? Do they use a different frequency maybe?
